Wonderful. I beat the entire thing in two days, and it's as wonderful as I could have ever hoped.

PROS:
o Combat feels nice and tight, and you're rewarded for being good at the techniques given to you. Using the environment around you always feels clever, and there are few moments I enjoyed more than executing a good Flurry. The boss fights all felt super solid too, and right when they would start to get repetitive, the game would throw me another curveball and send something new my way.
o Story is incredible. Every time the story took a turn, I found myself hating a new character, or loving an old one. I thought I knew where this mystery would take us, but I was blindsided several times and I loved every time it happened.
o Art style is stylish and vibrant, and given the low-res look the game has overall, they genuinely make so much out of the environment. Several areas and scenes were legitimately beautiful, and I'm a lil sad this game doesn't have a point store page, I'd grab a profile skin from it if I could.
o Graphically, the game is super sound. On top of looking good, it ran at a solid 60 fps for me the entire time. No hiccups as far as the engine goes either, I never got stuck, never bugged into a wall, never crashed. Very smooth playing through the whole game.

CONS:
o The biggest con, and really the only one I can give without coming off as nitpicking, is that the game is short. Like, very short. "Can comfortably finish it in one sitting" short. Which is good, once you get into the meat of the story, you're going to want to finish it in one sitting! But the lack of side/postgame content (New Game+, Alternate Endings, etc.) is a little disappointing. Still, if the biggest gripe with your game I have is "I wish there was more of it to play". I think that's probably a good sign.
o The other gripe I had, and the one that DOES feel like nitpicking is that the game... both asks that you explore and find all the secrets, and then doesn't actually reward you for doing so. The lore is good and well written, and the areas you unlock are always laden with amber to buy upgrades with, but that's about it. There's no hidden upgrades to find, there's no unlocking a secret ending, there's not even an achievement for getting all the memories, despite there being an achievement for getting all the trophies, thus 100% the game. Like, it almost feels like there's really not much of a point to getting it because, other than some admittedly well written paragraphs of exposition and worldbuilding, there's not much one actually gains from spending the time. This con goes hand in hand with the other one, and both can be solved by just adding more content to the game.

Basically, I got sucked in, I loved every minute of it, and if there's ever a sequel/spiritual successor, you KNOW I'm gonna be snagging that one too. 9/10, I heartily recommend!
