Find the hidden cats in different areas. You click on the cats. Pretty simple. There are many games in this genres and "Ever Seen A Cat?" is one of the good ones. It has more abstract cats and a timer which I enjoyed. It can still be a chill game, but if you race through you can get it done in about 1 hour. The music sounds like royalty free music, but it is okay enough.

If you like this type of game buy this on sale

Just a normal day in the woods and plains during winter in Norway. First-person creepy game with PS1 graphics. Similiar games are "No one lives under the Lighthouse".

It is hard to decide on what to give this game. It is very very short, but at the same time I enjoyed the experience. It is well made and has some stuff you don't see much in games. There are some things to find and the story isn't told in a straight line. If you enjoy this type of game then you should buy this on sale. I want to see what more the dev can make in the future.

Comfy game where you are trying to find cats hidden in various places and eras. I enjoyed it very much for what it is. There are some secrets to discover, but the game is mostly just a chill game. It might be a very long game if you are good at finding the cats, still great for shorter gaming sessions

Vertical moving tower defense resource gathering roguelike/roguelite with pixel graphics. It is a nice game, even if it doesn't blow you out of the water. Humanity lives on a wall and you move a spiderrobot up and down to find mines where you can get resources and figure out what this world is. Decent variety in enemies and alot of things to find and unlock. You will die often and get a bit better (gear, robot and skills) each time. It looks good, plays well and is interesting enough.

It is not a hard game compared to other similiar games, but the game will force you to die a couple of times even if you feel you should have been able to survive just by throwing enemies at you. It is not a major problem, though doesn't feel great. In total there are some annoying parts of the game, but those doesn't ruin the whole experience. It is easy to pick up and play if you have 30 minutes to burn. Took about 17 hours to complete.

TL;DR: Wallclimbing in a spidermech with mining and dying. I will recommend it to most, but I am not sure you will enjoy it as much if you are not a fan of games like FTL or similiar "Die and die and get better in short sessions" type of game. Haven't played the DLC, but probably has much of the same gameplay. Worth the full price, but no reason to not wait for a sale.

Mystery/horror point and click with a twist and many different endings. Who's Lila is a unique game where you control your characters facial expressions instead of choosing a speech option directly. It is the type of game that is best enjoyed played blindly so I am not gonna say more.

The sounds are perfect and the look of the game fits very well. It is hard to recommend this to everybody though. I think many people will be weirded out or even bored by the "lack" of gameplay. If you enjoy discovering and exploring without being led by the hand and you can handle indie games that look and play somewhat different then this is a game for you. There is so much to uncover in this game and you will be able to figure out most of it with your own thinking. I think it is worth the full price, but there is no reason to not wait for a sale.

(The only part of the game I don't like is that there are parts of the game that I don't believe you will be able to find unless you randomly stumble upon them on one of the first playthroughs or you have played this game for too many hours. Not a huge fan of things like that, but it is a minor part and not impossible to find (though I don't think I would have been able to on my own).)

A short horror with PS1 style graphics. Took about 2 hours to beat, but there are multiple endings so there might be some replay value. The first part was great. Really unsettling and tense. Sounds and music were used perfectly.

Cute retro platformer. It is very easy to recommend this game. You play as a dragon trying to save his brothers and sisters (in eggs) that have been kidnapped and spread across different worlds. You meet colorful characters and evolve as you collect. You mostly platform around, but there are some puzzles (ranging from very easy to "hmm, let me think" in difficulty). I beat the game in 5 hours, and the game never felt tiring or had overstayed its welcome.

There are some things to explore and mysteries that might intrigue, but this is not a horror game hidden as a kid's game situation. Highly recommend it. I would even buy it not on sale. Even if I completed the game I will probably boot this up again to enjoy the scenery and music as meditation.

Short horror FPS game that draws inspiration from many horror sources with the most prominent being the Resident Evil games. You get some new game modes when you beat the game the first time that some people may enjoy.

I enjoyed it for what it was. I thought the game would be a bit longer, but for the price I don't really mind. Controls are good, sounds are good and the game has a unique look.

Penumbra: Black Plague does everything the first game did, just slightly better.

Short first-person horror game with physics puzzles.

You travel to Greenland to investigate some stuff. The setting is nice for a horror game like this. Really enjoyed the way the game lets you figure out stuff on your own. If you just look at what is around you and what you have, you will be able to figure out what you need to do to progress. A couple of places have some slightly annoying parts where you are almost forced to die at least once, but in theory you can understand what you need to do on the first try if you are paying attention.

The game is 17 years old and kind of looks like a Source engine game, but I think the graphics create the right feeling for a horror game. I did not have any major issues running the game, though had a couple of crashes that might have been my own fault.

I enjoyed this more than Amnesia for some reason. You can only buy this game in a collection with the two other games in the series so get it during a sale. I haven't played the other two games yet so this is just a review for Penumbra: Overture
