Yes, if I recall correctly, Ark was not made to be modded, it was an after thought. That's why modding is so tricky and buggy. Since they now see how it really helps improve their game, I hope its more incorporated into Ark 2. I am really looking forward to it, and hope that 1) Snail Games isn't helping with it, and 2) They learned from their mistakes with Atlas & Ark :)

Thank you, @Glitcher! I'll have to remember that one. I've not done that as usually things break when you don't do it "just so". At the moment my group of friends is playing Valheim, unmodded, and so far we are having fun without mods. My hope for Ark2 is they find a new way of thinking about building, and in particular how mods could take advantage to "inherit" behavior. It would go a long way if "full height + half height" wall and floor types were considered. Watching a Valheim build session on YT, I got mad at Ark and had to play Valheim just to get away from the pain of Ark building. :)

You were saying how you wish the S+ stuff would snap to the Castle mod, right? What I do is, make a thatch piece of the foundation or ceiling with S+, snap the crop plot or what ever I want to snap, and then replace/destroy it with the Castle mod piece. Works great :)

Unfortunately, that sounds like a support call to them. :( I was using Ark Server Manager for Windows, but now I'm switching to Linux so I have to deal with the raw config files. :(

I done that , after i saw that comment of you. its alittle more complicated because Arkservers.io already provide something similar its called Allow Integrated S Plus Structures and i can turn it off or on. but it doesn't do anything ass well.
