As an 81-year-old lifelong gamer, I’ve seen and played a multitude of games, but none have captivated me quite like NIGHT-RUNNERS™ PROLOGUE. This game is not just a game, it’s a time machine that took me back to the most memorable moments of my life.

The first time I played it, I was immediately transported back to the time when I met my wife in Japan. She was my classmate during a campus trip. Despite the school’s rules, I attended a racing meet. It was there, amidst the thrill of the race, that I met her. We befriended each other and after our time there, we returned together to the campus where our school was staying. Those moments of connection were so intense and real, it was as if I was reliving that moment all over again while playing the game. It was a sentiment I hadn’t experienced since then, despite my daily indulgence in anime.

The driving mechanics in the game are nothing short of spectacular. The thrill of throwing out the nitro, the potential of the drifts, and the fear of going above 200km/h are so realistically portrayed that it feels like you’re actually behind the wheel. It reminded me of the days when I used to race all day in my old Silvia in Japan.

The game’s theme and aesthetics are also worth mentioning. The Japanese theme resonates deeply with me, and the loading screen featuring an old TV with a black/grey display is a nostalgic touch that adds to the overall charm of the game.

In conclusion, NIGHT-RUNNERS™ PROLOGUE is more than just a game for me. It’s a bridge to my past, a reminder of my cherished memories, and a testament to the beauty of life’s journey. Although I may not have enough time to play the full game due to my age, the prologue itself has given me an experience that I will treasure forever.
