After years of these games sitting in my library, I finally got around to going through the whole series over the course of just under a week.

And, well, I am absolutely blown away! Simply put, they are the greatest narrative-led games I have ever played.

The story following Clementine starts inauspiciously with episode one focusing on Lee and his struggle to adapt to the new world, but ends up in the Final Season with Clem putting everything she has learnt over the years and the people she has met into effort after effort to keep herself and those around her out of harms way.

The divergent storylines, and those affected by your actions as the player are far more subtle than those in the 2nd and 3rd games; with conversational options not being as over-reactionary and more realistic as to your expectations.

The way you mould AJ into the person he is going to become is a tiny bit forced, but given the subject matter and the age of him they do make a lot more sense.

Not a long review, but for anyone who has not played any of these games before, I cannot recommend them highly enough. And if you have time aside to play all 4 games back to back, then please do it!

An absolute rollercoaster ride, 10/10.
