Super fun game and great effort on showing the history of the series. Unfortunately it does not have online play, which is a huge factor for me personally.

(*)I am so close to not recommending this game since they dropped the ball on the Always Online. I play on Steam Deck offline a lot and this is VERY impactful for me.

However, I do really like this game, and outside of that and server issues, the game is great and does the originals justice. I have recognize that the developers put a lot of love and work into this game and I wont ignore that.

I only hope we can someday get THPS3+4 or even THUG1+2 sometime in the future. A pipe-dream for sure, but one I'll always keep an eye out for.

*EDIT: They did it! Offline mode for Steam Deck has been added! My hope is ever-slightly increasing for future THPS content.

Very fun fighting game with a suprisingly polished combat system. Slight hiccups and bugs present at this time but big props to the dev team!

Don't let the silly colors fool you, this game has deep mechanics and characters that will leave you spamming that rematch button. The game shares mechanics from multiple genres such as DI (from platform fighters), "Roman Cancels" (From the Guilty Gear series) and a chain combo system that would fit right at home on a tag-fighter. The characters seem simple at the start but they all have some depth to them that will have you improvising and finding new things to do.

It's complex enough game that it will take time to master but, like many great Fighting Game titles, once the reward is felt, you are hooked. Developed by a single passionate designer, he is very involved with the community and hearing any feedback from them, even holding tournaments for them. The community is also very welcoming and friendly, great to joke around with and run sets against in this silly color game.

The game has rollback netcode, it's free and very 'pick-up-and-play', call a friend and run a set, I'm sure you'll have a great time.

This is a high quality console-pc-mobile crossplay competitive game that you NEED to try. Its free, microtransactions are mainly cosmetics and progress to unlock characters is easy enough that you'll unlock them without noticing while enjoying matches.

I'm one of those who played RushRev before it was called by that name. With that in mind, I believe this game is definitely being slept on. The game features a small mixed bag of characters that are either completely unique or a love-letter to well-known characters from other games within the same genre. It features game mechanics which might seem hard to understand at first but once you understand the potential of the system, it offers a lightning fast-paced and input heavy brawler while still keeping the controls and actions simple to execute.

If you are coming from other 'platform fighter' please do not view this game as you would another, they are vastly different and it requires a different approach than most other games in the same genre.

I feel its necessary to say that the devs have been working on this title for a few years already and while some might not see it as something positive, the game has undergone intense changes through its development cycle. I think the hardest step for this game will be its marketing; the target audience is not easy to please as they are very "elite" about the games that join their 'platform fighter' genre.
