Gosh, what a ride.

The amount of effort that clearly went in to the music, the animation, and the character work was very evident, and I ended up so attached to everyone by the end, warts and all. They're highschoolers, they have eccentricities and moments where their dramatics barely make sense, but it also made this feel like one of the most genuine explorations of high school I've seen in a long time.

This holds a place in my heart joining with Night in the Woods in terms of perfectly capturing a certain vibe and committing to it. I'm still thinking about it, and I think I will for quite some time to come.

An unfinished game built on the promise of a cancelled franchise. Lags horribly, looks hideous.

Stay far away.

Just finished Life is Strange - and man, what an amazing ride it was. Beautiful, quiet, and ultimately poignant story. Would whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone who likes old-school point-and-click-style adventure games or just fantastic stories about the consequences of trying to find the right way in life and time.

Masterfully fun gameplay.

... but a thoroughly incomplete story, and a tepid and near-silent performance from Keifer Sutherland.
