Started playing this years ago, got into it, played about 500 hrs then drifted away from it. Well, a few weeks ago I decided to give it another go, and 80 hrs later im still having fun. Much more content than when I used to play, started a new character too so all in all a fresh experience. Graphics are still decent enough, fully voice acted, still a large player base for those of you seeking guilds and pvp etc.

My only problem is the legnth of the login queues in the evenings (Im on the EU server), anything from 15mins to an hour. Although it sometimes says as high as 16hrs when i first join the queue, I just ignore that and it soon drops.

A good fun racing game. No real realism of racing game sims, but all the fun of GTA style city driving, with drifting and a career built in. I like the DAY/NIGHT split, night is a high stakes cop chase and street racing in traffic, daytime is a more relaxed racing experience in cordoned off streets. Good car selection, Although I would have liked to see more regular cars too, always like to tune cars I have owned in real life, but lots to choose from either way.

Can customise paint jobs and wraps on the Need For Speed Heat Studio Android app.

Works well with Logitech wheel, just install G-Hub!

Not tried online play with friends, but i can imagine cop chases would be great fun and intense.

Great graphics.

I would say the streets are not crowded enough, makes for less crashes which is good, maybe would have been good with more traffic in the daytime.

All in all I would give it a solid 8.5/10

An excellent, well thought out game by developers who obviously planned, playtested and were not afraid to cut and tweak content as they went. I say 'game' loosely. This is more of a psychological journey into how the mind of this 2-year old perceives, and is affected by what goes on in their life. The mechanics were perfect, turn the crosshair off unless you get frustrated trying to centre the screen to interact with things, go into the controls and make sure they are all assigned as for some reason, 'throw' wasn't on mine, then turn the lights off and play! (This is not just a jump-scare-mageddon, do expect the unexpected, and do push through the harder elements and finish the game in one go, it will reward you with narrative.)

I recommend playing through all in one go, don't use any guides as the occasional time I felt lost, it didn't last long. Then visit the museum and play the Prologue chapter afterwards, as unlike most behind-the-scenes content, it is actually really interesting and rewarding and adds more depth to the game and a great insight into the developers minds!

The only negative is there is not really any replay value. There were drawings to collect as I went but it didn't let me know how many I found or reveal anything for doing so. Maybe alternate endings would have helped, or a hardcore mode where you only get one chance, with relevant steam achievements attached to spur on players to replay. It will sit in my steam library and I would probably play it again in 5-10 years, but for what is essentially a one-shot game, the full price is quite high, its a perfect price if it supports the developers to keep producing high quality work like this, but if you have not got much cash spare, wait for a steam sale, play the game in its entirety, and enjoy!

I look forward to seeing what Krillbiter Studio produce in the future!

Early Access Review
Needs more modes, features and variety for better replayabilioty, but love it! Great for keep fit

The main things I would love to see would be:
• The ability to make custom music playlists from your PC
• Beat Mode - Enemies spawn in time to bass and trebble (different enemies)
• Centepede bosses - A chain of enemies, if you shoot in the middle it splits into 2, shoot either end to kill it.
• A store, to buy upgraded armour, lives, fire rates etc
• Proceedural spawning for infinite levels with a linear increase in spawn rates, an in-game store would allow further progression by purchacing upgrades to everything

• Any excuse for more matrix bullet time dodging of bullets, its one of the best parts :)

As the game is, I still love it, more music and more potential for longer playthroughs is all that is currently missing for me.
