Early Access Review
After 6 hours. If you look past the servers problems and some bugs the gameplay loop is enjoyable, the encounters with other survivors thanking you for saving them is just unique that not even the first NMRIH made me feel. Atmosphere, sounds, and the overall map design shows that devs cared a lot and deserve recognition.

I believe the game will become a lot better and people should stop giving instant Negative review after just 10 minutes of gameplay

The most fun I've had in a coop game, the amount of bodies that pile up outside the walls, the twin turrets, with the only downside being performance, but overall the experience is unique and the game deserves praise

For the love of god, buy this game. It took them 10 years to develop this wonderful game that uses unique assets. Furthermore, as we all know the game is balanced. So, make yourself a favor and spend those $60 in this game, is worth it.

Early Access Review
The actual character animations look and feel great, YOU CAN SEE YOUR LEGS! If you aim down, but this game is missing some core stuff that would make the player experience more immersive

-The facility is too empty and quiet, (Needs more ambiance audio like an alert message from the facility AI reminding personnel to evacuate or that SCP XX-XX has escaped or there's been a containment breach, make it an objective to turn it off or make it sound every few minutes), The interiors also need to look like something happened there. some of them have this detail but most of the time you run into empty rooms with no wandering zombies around.
-Zombies run in a straight line making it so easy to kill them, a good solution to this, is making a few of them limp so is harder to hit their head or make them jump towards the player.
-Missing sound effects when interacting with computers, locked doors, the sound when you interact with the files is too low.
Overall it needs to improve, the player animations feel like Beta, but everything else feels like pre-alpha. it has potential.
I cannot recommend this game If you're looking for a replayable experience while you wait for updates

Edit:

-Awesome environment, I can say the facility feels real and you can tell that something is happening.
- Still playing the first raid and so far the puzzles are a bit easy but a good start.
- Zombies animations make it harder to hit which is awesome but since most of the time you're fighting them in hallways, I feel like they're a bit too easy to kill. crawling, jumping variations would make it more chaotic. But still a huge improvement compared to the first time I played
- Sound effects for interactions, weapons, and alarms are neat.

Overall a great game, but I think the focus of the game should be towards the Area12 missions. Tried the Outpost raid and the AI is not good enough. I feel like the game tries to aim to be a Ground Branch SCP game. But I think it should aim to be a GTFO inspired SCP game.

Pretty cool, wish we could get costumes for creatures for the same price, cool ones not like the ones they keep adding. I don't like the fantasy/dumb approach with the furry and colorful costumes but overall I enjoy the game and I'd like to show my support

I really love the graphics... the new designs but... 3 hours and 28 minutes to complete the game. I even took my time to explore a bit. the atmosphere felt good for the first couple of minutes but then it all felt apart when every engage with the nemesis started with a cut-scene and a quick time event... Come on I really wanted to see more stuff happening on the background. Also What's the deal with the live-action opening? I really wanted to see a remaster or a remake of the original opening. showing the first couple of hours where police and UBCS began the fight againts the undead. The opening felt like the WWZ movie opening scene.
also they skipped most of the first couple of hours in the old game. What happened with the bar? why is it only in the cutscene?, What happened with the gravedigger? What happened with Jill getting in the RPD? What happened with Jill doing puzzles around the city? What happened with the clock tower? What happened with Carlos being a companion? Why skip all of this? there was no need to remove these parts. If you're doing a remake you're suppose to improve these parts not remove them entirely. I was so hyped. At least I gotta thanks that RE3 Remake made me change my mind about pre-ordering games
Overall... I give it a 5/10 comparing it to the original and RE2 Remake

Only reviewing because of the steam awards.

Pretty cool approach to the remake of the old RE2, The only thing I didn't like was that they decided to remove the first couple of minutes in the city. I'd loved to see the city in the remake and also that Claire and Leon only met 3 times but overall the police station, design, puzzles and everything else was fine.
