TLDR: This game is absolutely incredible and a must-buy, especially with friends, below is my cinematic experience of my first win with 3 friends as we struggle against the cliffs.

We made it past the shore and jungle: no deaths.
We make it past the alpine: 1 dead to a fall, 2 dead to HIM, last one makes it to the top and revives.
We make it into the caldera: 2 dead to lava, 2 of us make it to the end, we revive the others.
Into the Kiln; the first crumbles early by no fault of their own but by a game crash unfortunately, the second falls while crossing a difficult gap we only made due to a clutch rope and bonus stamina, the third falls nearly 3/4th of the way up; I turn away for one second and they're gone without a single noise.
It's just me.
I struggle my way up the last of the kiln, feet burning with every step and stomach getting emptier and emptier; no backpack, only a meter of rope, a piton and a chain gun to my name. I keep climbing, forced to burn my legs out until my stamina is nearly gone just to fire off my chain gun and cross a gap by the skin of my teeth, ditching the rope along the way for a little bit less weight.
I climb and I climb, limbs burning as my stamina bar grows smaller and shorter. It takes time, and I nearly fall on the last bit but I manage to reach the top.
I arrive at The Peak, only a piton to my name and a race against my hunger, scrambling up with a quarter of my stamina before firing off a flare.
10 Seconds to grab the rope, and I almost don't make it.
