–– 7 Hours gaming, first review––

Nothing wrong with this one.

Neither anything very unique.

So why is this a thumbs up? well to begin with, the price tag is 6-7€, and you will easily find yourself play this for tons of hours. Just with the current early release content, could I see my self play this for 50-100 hours. That is a lot of value, if you ask me. But is the game any good?

Yes, its pretty good. To me, do deck builders need something very simple to make them good.

1. Each run should be somewhat unique.
It do that, but not to begin with. (You will unlock more, the more you play, so go figure. The further you get in the game, the more unique each run will become. Sort of slowly introducing you to more complex deck building.)

2. Complexity or a unique play style.
Hard to tell how complex it is, from 7.5 hours of game play, but I think I would call it rather decent, without it being a Slay the Spire or Oxygen not included complexity. The unique thing in this deck builder, is having 2 hands, a Main hand & off hand. I all so find it very intriguing that you can change your deck, gear and abilities to better suit what you find through the run.

Again, for the price tag, you get a lot. Worth picking up for sure, if you like these types of games.

You will beat this game, and unlock most of the content, after 20-30 hours of playing time. And that is not saying, that this is a bad thing, it is just a fact.

My experience with each run, is that they feel rather unique each time, even after 30 hours of runs. The main reason for this, is down to the fact that you can at any given point doing the runs, completely switch focus of your gear, skills and cards, to suit what you have found doing the run. That also works into the meta progression with more unlocked cards from the gems.

One negative, is that the meta progression, might make the game a lot easier, the more you play, without having the reward of getting much further then the last boss ... one that you have already killed. But this is early access, so I expect we will see some sort of corruption system, or more levels to beat soon enough.

Again, I want to make clear, this game is a steal for the price tag. I did not expect to play 30 hours this quickly. The game was a little bit painful to begin with, before you unlock a few things, but after a couple of runs, I think most people would really enjoy this little gem of a deck builder.

Alright, 51 hours in, after 5 days. I trust that speaks for it self, in terms of how good this game is, (and not me having no life.)

Buy it, and enjoy.

THE PLUSES:

* Most deck building games, is turn based, so this feels a lot different, but yet familiar.

*The amount of possible deck building in different direction, feels to me to be on the + size compared to many other indie games with the same prize tag. At least if we look past the epics of Slay the spire & Monster Trains and the alike. There are some themes being used in all decks to begin with, such as the "not so cheese," cheese card. But other then that, the further you get into a run, the more unique will each deck and run feel.

*I could see myself play this for 100's of hours, with the amount of content and small achivments
to hunt for. But again, I want to emphasis, that the importance is, that I don't feel like any of the current runs, ever turned out the same, which is key to getting me to play those amounts of hours, and coming back for more.

*So far do the game feel pretty balanced. Not to easy, not to hard for me, the average Joe.

THE NEGATIVE:

*The runs can easily take 2 hours, if you hold over the cards for long, and get buildings or cards that slow down the wave speed of enemies. Tho, this is also seen as a plus, is this game pretty exhausting for oldies with slow reaction time, and with the need to rethink everything. Yeah, pointing at myself, but nevertheless, I need a rest, after each run.

*The sounds & music gets pretty repetitive fast.

*This is casselgames first release. That means we know nothing about, how they will handle new content, updates, or if they will even develop it further.

OVERALL:

Worth the money, but don't expect game of the year in indie games, or the deck building category. It is decent, but I doubt we got the next Hades here.

For the price, one of the best games I have bought this year.

I did not pay full price for this product. If I had, it would had been a thumb down. But, if you can get this for 15-20€, you will probably like what you get, for that price. By far, the best golf game I have played, and it is pretty funny to play multiplayer.

I expected more from this game.

That said, if this game was priced 10-15€ would I say, it was worth it. I doubt I will put more then 15-20 hours in this game at a maximum, unless they do some big patches (Hopefully they do.) The game is really not worth anywhere near the 50€ it cost at the moment. That might change, but for now, is this game, very early realease. Without it being tagged early-release tho, and in worse case, is this a money grabbing game. Time will tell.

I was thinking about doing some positive/negative list to this game, but to be honest. There to few poistive to even do that. Right now, just don't buy it. Especially not, for the full price. This game needs a lot of work, pretty much in all aspects of the game. It just feels very watered down, easy, and repetitive in a bad way. If you came here looking for a good spreatsheet game with pirates and trade, you didn't find it.

Paradox will ♥♥♥♥ my wallet. That is a fact. Month after month, will they repeatedly put their fat fingers inside my wallet, and finger it. This, In exchange of minor exspansions, that will break every single mod you would like to play with, especially, if you don't buy it.
But they will come back, ohh yes. They will come back, with their fat fingers, and demand even more of my wallet, while they go though every pocket and zipper. They dig in, and find every single coin and credit card and leave my wallet with a sound & flavor pack. When they are finally done, my wallet look up at me, and say: ´Was it worth it?´

431 hours in FM17. +15k hours total in FM

If you love mangement games, yeah sure FM overall is the best game out there if you ask me. But if you allready got FM16, you got the best manager game on the market.

I do not care, if I need to wait years for a better match engine, and graphcis overall. I do not care if the game is 50gb or even 100gb instead of 5gb, I dont care to wait for bug fixes, and it may be pushed a few months back in realse date, JUST DO IT, becourse I love the game, but FM17 will make me think more then twice on a buy of FM18.

Played 5 seasons with ZRT Autosport in the lowest devison. I do not know anything about motorsports in real, so keep that in mind.

Overall, I have enjoyed this a lot, and if they devolep this right over the years, it could be one of the best mangments games

Decent grafics in 3D, and you can even play this on the worst laptop around, since they upgraded 2D version in a patch.

Very good micro managment in the races, and it never stops being fun.

Also great micro managment in the development/improving of parts.

Lots of diffrent ways to approch a season, with drivers, staff, HQ´s, and cars.

The layout is brialliant, and you will fast get a good felling for how things work in the game.

Also great toturial in the first race.

Highly addictive, always one more race.

You will get annoyed by not having a fast forward option, when your done with a race or practice, but have to wait for the last man out there, to come home with no fuel and burning tyre.

High learing curve for beginers to Motorsport.



Overall 8.5/10, and I will recomend this game for anyone enjoing managment games, even if you dont know anything about motorsport.
