I followed a strategy I had read about online. I started with the Scientist (female) and built my deck around x3 re-use cards. The Re-Use cards stack effect. I used a Generator and x2 Blacksmith buildings to make sure all Stoneskin cards I acquired got upgraded quickly, so that they were not ephemeral. I used the female scientist's Replicate ability, combined with a lv. 2 University, to make large numbers of lv. 2 Stoneskin cards at least every 40 seconds. I have at this point 50+ hours in this game. I've completely cleared level 1 of forest, only lacking scientist and captain on desert, and only have military on coast. I haven't touched pollution because the game is already insanely hard. Forest is the easiest area, and I find coast to be the hardest. But I'm struggling to get any other completion in this game. At all. I've tried strategies that've worked before, and I've tried many new strategies to no avail. I've no idea how to beat the coast on anything...

It would seem that this game lacks an active pause. There are many players, myself included, for whom this is a make or break factor in our buying decision. Can you please confirm that this feature will be added later?

I've played roughly 20 times now with the merchant leader i can get to around wave 25 of 30 then i just get absolutely overrun with lizards and can't hold them off and once a wall falls down all my guards behind it get shredded and then i end up losing, it feels like merchant just has no fighting power...

I always die for the same reason. A big wave comes and I need to move all my rats together. Everything is fine. However when the next split wave comes, I try frantically to click my rats individually to move them back to the other side and I can never do it fast enough. They are all bunched up and it's impossible to give these orders in an amount of time that matches the speed of the incoming waves.
