Oh For Honor, where do I begin?

The core concept and style of the game is what drew me in and helped me put 230 hours into the game at this time. The long standing question 'Who would win: Knights, samurai or vikings?' Well the answer is DEUS VULT INFIDELS WE RETAKE JERUSALEM! Im only joking, it depends on the player, and that is the beauty of the game, no matter what character you play there will be better counters than others but at the end of the day whoever is the better player will win, but which hero you select can tip the odds in either your or your opponent's favour.

Now the game modes: Dominion,Tribute,Deathmatch,Brawl,Duel and ranked modes

Firstly Dominion, I haven't played too much dominion, I only really play it when grinding my reputation however, it is a very fun and stratigical game mode which requires good teamwork and co-ordination to prevail.

Next up is Tribute, I have literally only played one match of this but I love the concept, 3 flags, all providing buffs and the team who controls the most at the end wins, that is unless you hold all 3 flags for a minute (I believe). This mode also requires alot of teamwork and isn't as cluttered as dominion.

Oh deathmatch, the cesspool of ganking that I love. Now don't get me wrong, I love an honorable 1v1 from time to time, but this is a '4V4' mode not 4 '1V1's. It is very fun to hop into with 3 friends and either tryhard or mess about in.

Brawls can only be explained in one way, you and your best mate want to kick ass but don't want the fuss of big groups so you play this. It's not as bad as deathmatch for ganking but you do have a good chance to end up winning if you're good enough. My only issue with brawl is people treat is more like it's two duels and not like a brawl, I love when me and a mate go head to head with two other good players and have a bloody slaughter-fest, but not everybody shares our ideals.

Now duels, the epicentre of for honor's skill level, less strategy more concentrate on killing your opponent. You will not see more variation in for honor than in duels, everyone plays their own way and every fight feels different, that is why this is my favorite mode out of all of them.

When it comes to ranked, I haven't played much of it so take what i say about it lightly. Ranked duels tend to have either players who have just reached reputation level one trying their luck or the most hardcore tryhard pro's that give you a good fight but seem to be a bit boring as they don't seem to play balanced and tend to turtle up a bit. Not all players of course, just the experience i've had.

Ranked dominion I have NEVER played so I won't make assumptions about the mode.

Last thing i'm going to say is, I love the diverse cast of characters and that no single character is better than the other and can't wait for the new faction to come out.
