LEGO Horizon Adventures is a short, fun romp that proves LEGO games can still surprise us. It's a refreshing departure from the usual formula you got with the Traveller's Tales games. Whether you're looking to unwind with an easy-going game or test your mettle on the higher difficulties, the five difficulty levels ensure there's something for everyone. I found the gameplay loop to be simple yet satisfying, and collecting all the collectables is a breeze, making it accessible to players of all ages.

That said, the grind to get all four characters to max level is way to tedious. It’s not difficult, but it is repetitive and adds more tedium than enjoyment to an otherwise smooth experience. Another gripe is the requirement for a PlayStation Network account to even play the game. This might not bother everyone, but it feels like an unnecessary hurdle. Not to mention that if you live in a country that doesn't have PSN you can't even buy the game.

The biggest sticking point for me, though, is the price. While the game is fun, it doesn’t feel substantial enough to justify its cost. For what you’re getting, it’s just too expensive. Wait for a sale before diving in. Despite these drawbacks, LEGO Horizon Adventures is still an enjoyable, easy-to-complete experience that showcases a fresh side of LEGO gaming. If you want to see what LEGO games can be like beyond the TT formula we're used to it’s worth a shot, just not at full price.

This game is a huge improvement over the first LEGO Batman in almost every way. The addition of voice acting and a proper plot makes it much more enjoyable to play through. The fully explorable Gotham City is awesome, offering a cool backdrop between levels and a hub for the various collectables to obtain.

The game introduces the ability to fly with Superman, which sounds great on paper but is definitely flawed in its execution. While flying in the story levels works fine, the controls in the open world are downright horrendous. Navigating Gotham’s skyline with Superman was extremely frustrating, but it is still the fastest way to gather all the collectibles. Despite being a little tedious, the hunt for collectibles in the open world wasn't as unbearable as in some other TT LEGO games.

It took me around 15 hours to fully complete the game, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The gameplay is solid, the story is engaging, and overall, it’s just a lot of fun to play. Even with a few minor annoyances, like the awkward flying controls, this remains a fantastic game.

LEGO Jurassic World is a delightful and faithful adaptation of the first four Jurassic Park films, capturing the thrill and adventure of the movies in charming, brick-built form. The game covers each film's story across 20 levels, with each movie having its own hub set on the iconic islands from the films.

The game shines with its diverse roster of characters, each bringing unique abilities that make puzzle-solving both fresh and fun. The addition of playable dinosaurs, each with their own set of abilities, further enriches the gameplay experience. For completionists, the game is quite approachable. Collectables are easy to gather once you unlock the necessary characters and their abilities, and story levels are dotted with checkpoints, making it simple to revisit and collect anything you might have missed.

I spent 19 hours fully completing LEGO Jurassic World, and those hours were packed with enjoyment. Whether you're a fan of the films or simply a LEGO enthusiast, this game strikes a perfect balance between nostalgia and fun. And of course, it features LEGO Jeff Goldblum. What’s not to love?

As one of the first LEGO games made by Traveller's Tales, LEGO Batman holds a nostalgic charm, but it definitely shows its age. The gameplay feels a bit clunky compared to modern LEGO titles, and the mechanics are sometimes frustrating, especially if you're aiming for 100% completion. However, there's an undeniable charm in its simplicity, and I can see it being a fun, casual experience for those not too concerned with chasing every collectable.

The plot is very basic. The Riddler, Penguin, The Joker, and other villains are causing trouble, and it's up to Batman and Robin to stop them. You play through 15 levels across three episodes as the Dynamic Duo stopping the villain's schemes, and then another three episodes playing as the villains showing the story from their perspective.

One of the biggest drawbacks is the limited character roster. For most of the game, you're playing as Batman and Robin, which can get a bit repetitive. Although you unlock some villains and side characters, the variety doesn’t compare to later LEGO games.

It took me just under 17 hours to complete the game, and while I had some fun moments, it’s not one I’d rush back to. However, if you’re a Batman fan or enjoy LEGO games, it’s still worth a playthrough.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga offers a wealth of content, spanning all nine movies over 45 levels and 24 open-world planets to explore. Unlike previous TT LEGO games, characters are categorised into classes like Jedi or Bounty Hunter, with every character in their class sharing the same abilities.

The gameplay is refreshing, particularly the combat, but the story levels are relatively short, leaving out some movie details. While the game contains numerous collectibles and side quests, this is where my issues arise. The side quests can become repetitive, involving a lot of backtracking, and with over 2,000 collectibles and bonus objectives, achieving 100% completion is a daunting task.

It took me 67 hours to fully complete the game, and it felt like a slog by the end. Overall, I enjoyed the game, but the grind required for 100% completion may be overwhelming for some. Completionists should be ready for a lengthy and repetitive journey.

This game is pure torture. You spend ages putting together a good build only for the damn boss blind to screw over everything you've worked on.
I've lost run after run and am slowly losing all hope of ever winning again. It's soul crushing.

I love this game so much. I can't stop playing.

I'm only giving this a negative review so I can be berated by the Narrator in the next game.

Early Access Review
The artwork for this game is super cute and all the characters are too. Each character has their own storylines which are all pretty funny and are fully voice acted.

The gameplay itself is a fairly simple card game. There's definitely work that needs to be done to make it more fun and balanced, but I'm sure that'll be fixed during the Early Access development period.

Also, Francine is best girl.

If you look at my profile you will see that I am a connoisseur of the Nekopara franchise. So when I saw that Neko Works was blessing us with a fourth (well sixth actually) entry into the series I was over the moon with joy!

Once again Neko Works has delivered an exquisite addition to the series. There's more cute catgirls to see and talk with and tons of petting (both the heavy kind and otherwise) to be had.
You would truly be amiss to not purchase the game and play it yourself. And with the holiday season coming up now is the perfect time to introduce your friends and family to the glory that is Nekopara and find out who their favourite catgirl is.

Your parents may disown you and your friends may cease to talk to you, but that is a small price to pay to be able to see Chocola, Vanilla, Azuki, Maple, Cinnamon and Coconut's smiling faces again.
And best of all, you only need one hand to play.
