Things I Like:
+++ Couch Co-op! You can nearly always count on a Lego game to let you share the fun with another pal and I have to champion that because most companies these days want you to break the bank buying another console AND the game again.
++ Vehicles with two seats for you and your co-op pal.
++ Play as the Dinos
++ Dino customisation! As soon as you unlock your first dino, you can go to a menu that allows you to create a version with different parts and colours. There isn't a ton of variation - maybe about 5 parts for each category (head, body, tail, pattern) but there are lots of colours.
+ I grew up playing the Lego Star Wars games, so for me, it's plenty different from them while being exactly what you expect a Lego game to be like.
+ You can buy the characters straight from the character select menu. Saves time and it's been convenient for us to unlock someone with an ability we needed right there and then.
+ A couple laughs and lots of Spielberg movie easter eggs.

Things I Dislike:
--- Very poor, low quality audio. They literally ripped it from an old copy of the movie and put it into the game without editing. Worse than that even! Some lines are completely lost on me. Claire's attack grunt is more of an embarassing moan. It sounds so rude, I feel awkward playing as one of my favourite JP characters.
-- Not very faithful to the movies. Of course they're going to goof around, that's expected, but they where so afraid of showing any sort of death, characters who die in the movie dont die in the game, they just disappear or sometimes show up later for a gag. But showing dinosaurs trying to eat and kill people gets a pass. Showing animals in captivity being fed other live animals/humans is ok. And beating humans to death is ok. I get it's a kid's game but the first movie was from 1993! We're not all here for Crisp Rat and Jurassic World!
- Replaying the JP theme over and over. You play for an hour and you'll hear the JP theme more times than you've heard in your life time. It's a bit overused.
- Cant use fast travel during story. There was a few points where there where no vehicle stations and it would've saved us a lot of walking when backtracking.
- Bug: When finishing a mission in the first movie, it seperates me from Player 2 who will often be where they need to be to continue the story, while I'll be across the map in the home area, unable to get to them without changing to the character they're with. It got us stuck for a short while as we trekked around the park trying to figure out a way to get to each other.
- Bug: Got stuck in the level geometry a few times.
- Doesnt recognise PS5 or PS4 controllers. Have to use a seperate program to make it think we're using XBOX just to get proper button prompts.

Oh my gyatt!!! This is one of the best lego game
