Pros :
Really fun and challenging game.
Very satisfying levels to clear.
Lots of room for player expression.
Cool secrets to discover.
Pretty well polished. (Has the options you want to see in a game)

Cons:
Shadowbender died for this. (At least Shay lives on)

Solid game with some rough edges and even rougher English translation.

Cute girls.
Some cool boss design.

Compared to the highest difficulty, normal mode adds tons of extra platforms to trivialize some of the platforming.
But also you take almost no damage from spikes and falling, so not sure if it was really necessary.

- No new playable character
- No new artes
- No new skills
- No new weapon until the very end
- Not a single new monster
- Not a single new boss (Aside from the two major plot fights)
- A couple new recipes
- 3 new dungeons (one at the beginning, one 10h in, one at the very end, all tied to plot)
- 1 new costume per character
- 1 extra costume for Alphen and Shionne

- Losing access to several areas from the main game
- Losing all your skills and having to grind for them again
- Losing all your weapons and having to grind for them again

- 2 side quests lead to an interesting fight. Those fights are not repeatable.
- Late game quests allow you to get a very minor buff to Boost Attacks for each character, but what are you going to use them on, since there is no extra content?

Fire.

Finished my first playthrough in one sitting. Will definitely play this game more.
Game's good.
Game doesn't bore you with the upgrades that are in every single other game of the genre and instead opt for well designed and unique powers.
Boss design is great.
Visuals are polished.
And on top of it, it really retains the spirit of GalGun, even though they made a game in a totally different style.

The DLCs in this game are garbage. Costumes come with titles that contain very powerful artes and skills that ruin the experience of the game. I have them all and I can't use any of them because of how game breaking they are. Meanwhile, no cameo costumes, which is the bare minimum Tales players want.
