I've been waiting for a good Ace Combat game on PC for years, especially after that failure that Assault Horizon was. That said this game is good but not perfect.

CONS:
The PC porting is not so great right now, no Ultrawide support and an irregular HOTAS support.
Some missions are repetitive and your wingmans are not really that interesting.
The graphic is good, but I was expecting something better.
Few airplanes, but this is going to get fix with the future DLC.
The multiplayer needs more game modes.
MORE SKINS NEEDED.

PROS:
Obliviously the OST is awesome, I can't recall an Ace Combat game without a good Soundtrack.
The story is on the same level of Ace Combat 5, the lore is actually there and some of the characters are really really interesting.
The campaign is good, as I said, some mission are not that great but most of them are really really well made, lots of enemy, lots of doghighting, a good AI, this is what an Ace Combat should be.
The personalization of the airplanes is great, with lots of options to choose.
The game is HARD, I mean really hard. The maximum difficulty setting (Ace) is giving me more troubles than expected, which is a good thing.
The story is well written, cliffhangers, twists, connections to the old games story, giving a sense of continuity.

Would I recommend this game to an Ace Combat fan ? absolutely.
Would I recommend this game to a new player ? Maybe, I mean it's a fun Arcade game, also since it's so well connected to the old games, it could be a good game from were to start the series.
