This game has been amazing. I always come back after every big update since I've been playing it off and on since it came out. The Dev's are amazing! They listen to feedback and are constantly updating. I definitely recommend with friends. Can't say I played matchmaking, but you should join the Discord. There is always people looking for groups and you can also keep track on what they are up to next!

The game can be pretty relentless when it comes to dinos. Boy of BOY do i hate those little f*****s that come in groups at night with those beady bright yellow eyes. It could be times you are enjoying your time on the beach and then next thing you know you are being over run bye dinos coming out of the ground and those tappy tappy little feet that just come out of nowhere.

The game started out rough and now I feel like the devs really have been working on it hard to provide updates all the time and giving us content that we can all enjoy. The workshop has amazing stuff in it also that really help with certain things to make your hoarding life a little easier.

I would suggest those that really just want to enjoy the game without being ripped to shred by other players guns or tames, renting a server if you know you will be playing a lot is really nice to have if you wanna play with friends and not have to have them glued to your side all the time. Can't wait for the next content update to come out :)

Great to play when you're drunk with friends and too much is happening at once.

This is a lot better than the first one I can say for sure, but this is really more stealth based and you won't get far guns blazing unless your really that ballsy.

I started playing this game when it first opened up and I really enjoyed it. The update they make and changes have been amazing and always listen to the players. When I first played I was pretty open to whatever the story may be and enjoyed crafting and trying to see what I could build and survive against. Seeing the giant monstrosity's first hand was pretty scary in caves, and now actually having large groups with them and trying to destory our base and so on became a huge challenge.The story started expanding and most of my questions that I had became answered with the addition of more questions. I really recommend this game for the challenge, the story, and trying not to burn your friends as you team up to kill cannibals.

This game takes me back to my childhood. I still have the original for PS1 and I enjoyed this one just as much as the older one. It's also super fun to be able to lay back and play with a controller. I hope they remake the second one!
