Improves on the original in many ways, and is a good game on its own as well. Pretty much exactly what I've wanted from a 40k game for years now

A fantastic addition to the base game, and a must-have for people who own both that and a VR headset imo. My only two critiques are that the main menu is non-rotatable and sits off on my left side, and that low FPS can cause relatively severe screen stuttering (which the devs are actively trying to fix as of right now)

Helldivers 2 is one of the best coop Third-Person-Shooters I've played.

A solid, competent entry in the Armored Core franchise, definitely borrowing more elements from Soulsborne than older titles but not to a bad extent. The graphics look great, the story is engaging, and while some of the bosses are obnoxiously difficult (looking at you Balteus), they are beatable. Definitely miss the less linear mission selection from ACIV and AC: FA, but they work well enough here as well.

This is literally all I wanted from a 40k shooter for years, satisfying and fairly accurate weaponry, detailed environments and enemies, interesting usage of various new and old game mechanics and a fantastic soundtrack. The Heavy Bolter sounds, and even *feels* how it should, the regular Boltgun punches through chaff enemies in a single shot, and the plasma gun actually blows up weaker enemies unlike in the predecessor "Space Marine" where it was a glorified paintball gun. Fantastic game, excellent value for the price

Excellent game, very fun with friends or online. Wish the number of rounds played total could be changed natively in-game without mods. Modded gameplay is also exceptional, making me wish that there was an official workshop. WOrth every penny.

This is the best Warhammer 40k shooter out at this time. It's definitely flawed and incomplete, but the gameplay feels good and polished which is *very* unusual for 40k games; Space Marine is good but dated, Deathwing is clunky and very poorly balanced, Hired Gun feels like it was frankensteined together out of chunks from a dozen games. Darktide has fluid, enjoyable movement systems, an incredible melee that puts most other games to shame, gunplay that's almost as solid as Call of Duty (with some minor caveats) and an intiguing weapon/item system. Sure, I wish the cash shop weren't so front and center, I wish the crafting systems were finished, I wish the stats were more readable. But those problems don't invalidate the fact that the core gameplay is solid, something that most 40k fans have been craving for a very long time.
