Good:
+ The dealer, a great NPC and largely responsible why you will want to continue the game;
+ That feel, where a game is a life or death affair, something more than just a game;
+ Replay factor, plenty of cards to collect.


This game is not a card game as such, it uses the "universe" of cards (regular, tarot, collectible, etc.) to tell a story and is the core mechanic for various logistics (gear, movement, decision);

All in all, game is fun and gives a vibe of mystery about it. Surprisingly not-bad title that has come out of Unity.

If you are after a fun fighting game then there are plenty other titles (Try the sequel of this game);

If you want the story roots, sure, why not;


The bad:
- Not a single character felt as if you start out slowly and become a master with him.
- Only 2-3 out of 10+ chars felt fun.
- Low amount of moves, not only that but the moves can't be chained very often (if you expect Guilty Gear level of action, dont)
- Characters range from slow trucks to fast kites, but boring.
- Not a single character allowed you to feel that "umph" or power. (Hakumen might be an exception, on those moments when you perform his special counter).

The Good:
- Well the art and animation is really great
- The story, I guess; not a big fan of "onii chaan" or "kawai uguu~" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but got to agree that there is plenty of thought put behind all this time-paradox-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ story.

The Good:
+ Game looks nice, artists & engine coders did a great job.
+ Story (ignoring the filler content) the main peaks of story had you question your own actions, I'd say story is worth it.


The Bad:
Game design, there is not much of a game behind all the art, just fillers with peaks of story.
I've tried to play this game twice;
Both times I got bored of it completely due to repetitiveness.

After the first assassination, it is a rehash of the same.
Each time a bit more salt is thrown in to the hash.
If one could skip all the fillers and focus on the story, it would be a nice 2h interactive movie.

Logistics, resource management, automation;
PvE (optional);
Plenty of mods/modding (Lua);
Nice community (has forum, IRC (EsperNet, #factorio))

I've never thought to see such a jewel of a game to come out of RPG maker.
Looks like developer knew exactly what to do, set a design and stuck with it to the end;

+ Story is well presented;
+ Unique story at that, not the average good vs bad;
+ You will have to make decisions throughout the game...and then ask yourself what really is morality and ethics if not but words describing some abstracts invented by humans;
+ Humour; very subjective however;
+ Music is good (at times bloody awesome);
+ Combat has some unique elements I've not seen in other RPGmaker titles, but its not Grandia tier;
+ Replayability factor is there;

- Lags here and there, but only on very large areas (check if the game is configured to use main GPU in case if you have something like integrated intel graphics)

I recommend to not play on "Pain" mode on your first playthrough;

+ amazingly detailed chemistry bits n bobs (which were not mandatory for the game, but there it is, a whole periodic table for you to peruse);
+ puzzles are hard, like buttmad hard;
+ you can complete the puzzles in wildly different ways;
+ the harder the puzzles get, the more stranger ways you can complete them;
+ the whole "process" will actually teach you a think or two about logistics and pre-planning;
+ this game would pass the edutainment check in my books;
+ there is a story to it as well;

~ could not find anything particularily negative about the game;

Good:
+ Graphics engine
+ Story
+ PvE mechanics (use of environment)
+ Has simple crafting
+ Difficulty is good

Bad:
- PvP (matchmaker, balance, rewards)
- Final boss fight (SPOILER)

I recommend the game, It is fun and if you have a good friend to co-op it can become ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great!;
Once you finish it you can still play around with zombies and try Harder difficulty, go for New-Game+ too;

The PvP is not recommended if you are alone, or be ready to face the frustrations (increases the heart rate a few first times, as a plus side); It is nice to go man mode and overcome the learning curve, but you will have to figure out where the curve begins (totally not newb friendly).

For current discount of 80% ? Totally worth it, plenty of fun.

While the world is one of the smallest from the trilogy,
It is an ok finale.

Mods make it a truly great game.
Probably you will want to buy the STALKER trilogy series anyway.

+ Graphical design is just great, gives the feels to those that know what it was like to be a kid in a post-soviet "living region", with old abandoned multistory houses, ready to be explored;
