Rough rough launch week. Very poor optimization. The scope of the game is monstrous, but I feel like the devs bit off way more than they could chew with this one. We'll see if it gets better over time or just dies a quick death. Either way, 5,000 player peak for an MMORPG is a hard hurdle to get over. They need more players and need servers that can handle more players if they want this to go anywhere.

Yet another developer to add to the list of developers that take you money and leave you with a product you can't use. No available servers, limiting the amount of logins, blackscreen on startup. Fun times.

Firstly, I know some people have complained about performance issues, so take my statement with a grain of salt, but the first thing I noticed when launching this game was how smooth and clean the gameplay felt. It has run flawlessly for me so far, and it's refreshing to have a game that runs well out of the box instead of requiring years of early access to iron it all out. Secondly, if you like Elden Ring, you will like this game. The item upgrading, remembrances from bosses, general gameplay and boss fights are all very familiar feeling due to the similarities. The addition of what I call "the upside down" is a cool way to get replayability and give players a feeling of their being a doubly big world to explore for secrets and items. So far, I'm 4-5 bosses into the game and am having a blast. I will definitely be getting my moneys worth from this title.

Pros:
-Lots of skills!
-Good enemy diversity
-Great graphic style
-Lots of depths with passive trees, character selection, crafting, rune system, etc

Cons:
-Too grindy
-Small selection of maps

Overall, great game and I'm having a ton of fun!

I've been fiending for some good tower defense or RTS games, and this one was a purchase on a whim for me. I knew nothing about the game going in, but it is setup exactly like you would hope for a tower defense game. There are several towers (upgradeable), several enemy types, and a decent amount of maps. The game plays very well and very familiarly for regulars of the tower defense genre, and it definitely has escalating difficulty that requires strategy changes. While the sheer amount of content is not insane, the price is not insane either. You will definitely get some hours of fun out of this one, and for the price, it's well worth buying.

Let me start by saying I would give this game a neutral review if I could, but sadly, I don't have that option on steam.

The good: The walking simulation, atmosphere and music are all very nice. On these alone, I would have given this very inexpensive game a thumbs up for the price.

The bad: The script writer and narrator were obviously not native English speakers. It was very very hard to understand the narrator, subtitles would have helped greatly. However, the parts that I could understand, literally made no sense at all and seemed to be more or less random words strung together to make sentences. There was no story that I could gather from the script in it's final state.

Overall, if you had the option of muting the narration, I would recommend it. There is no option for this, however.

Life is Strange 1 is my favorite game ever. Before the Storm was cool to get some backstory that was missing in the original.

LIS2, however, is not nearly as good. It's still a reasonably enjoyable game, but I am not recommending because they try to force their politic views down your throat in this one.

Fantastic game! It's a combination of Diablo 3 fast & fun gameplay with the detail and stats you get from Path of Exile. There is plenty of fun to be had for casuals and hardcore theorycrafters alike. The visuals in this game are stunning. For being a small development studio and this being their first major game, it looks and plays amazingly well. From a storyline standpoint, it does start off a bit slow, but once you get the skill unlock at the end of Act 1 (I won't spoil this), WOW! Amazing fun!

That said, the opening weekend did have significant downtime as they went from a couple thousand people in Early Access to nearly 100,000 people trying to play all at once.

I would definitely suggest looking past the launch issues and giving this game a shot. Incredible for any action RPG fans.

EDIT: With the release of patch 1.0.6, the developers have destroyed melee viability in my opinion. Melee was the only way to play that wasn't severely underpowered, and boy did they fix that! Now everything is underpowered. Fun times.

True successor to Diablo II, minus a deep storyline. Storylines are almost non-existent in this game, but the RPG elements, character building and skill customization are absolutely outstanding. I would recommend this to anyone who got any joy from Diablo series games, Path of Exile, Torchlight games or similar. It's great fun mix and matching the classes and build your own awesome class.

Coming from someone who loves horror games (Outlast, Amnesia series, Layers of Fear, Soma, Penumbra, etc), I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. Warning: This is not a fast paced game! If you get bored with slow paced games, don't look here. However, if you love a slow building creepy as hell atmosphere that builds and builds as the game moves along, this is the game to play. A good blend of slow, psychological horror from the atmosphere and terrifying jump scares. This game got my adrenaline pumping many times. The only real complaint I have is with the last day. I won't post any spoilers, but I was disappointed with the ending. It does make me curious to see where they go with this franchise, however.

8/10, would play again.
