We don't play together since the workbench update, and we won't play much anymore. The game itself is fun to play. It's most fun with friends together. Fun is the key here, because nobody can win this game, you just constantly battle each other. Even if you do not have the biggest base at the end, you all get wiped and the server resets. Hunting other players is fun, raiding, farming, missions; all have great aspects of accomplishment when done successfully for a long duration. Very rewarding. Search for "pay to win" skins, because there are some essential items, such as the Arctic Hazmat suit.

Cheaters are in Rust. Cheaters are less found on premium servers, due to the $15 minimum in skins required to play on these servers. Reporting them in non-premium and non-official servers has great success in getting them banned on many servers with active admin.

Edit: In bi-weekly servers there were too many cheaters blatantly cheating. They get banned and immediately return with another account. Not prejudice to say they are all Chinese in SEA, because these were. Most server admins do a lousy job banning them quickly, but when they have time in a day or two they will ban them. It has ruined so many games, so we play on Official Facepunch and/or Premium servers.
