Although not my introduction to the franchise, that being DS3, this game is one I have an unmatched emotional connection to. The game twists a narrative into its level design that is INSANELY intriguing and fun to figure out (or to let VaatiVidya explain), and genuinely feels like an adventure, I'd say more so than most action/adventure games I've played. That sense of adventure and exploration is thick throughout the entire game, be it the awe-inspiring initial view of Anor Londo or the dungeon-crawling atmosphere of the Catacombs. I have nothing but love for this game, but it should be noted that yes, as many have said before, the second half of this journey is not quite as engaging as this first. I still enjoyed it plenty, likely more than most, so it didn't bother me much, but that may throw some off.

Conclusion: Buy the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game (preferably on sale)

I hate this game

Great port of an amazing game. Only real problem is the random stuttering, which is most noticable when entering Brok's shop in Tyr's Temple.

I prefer New Vegas, but there's still a good time to be had here. Don't expect a riveting plot or game-altering decisions.

Obsidian Software made New Vegas in only 18 months, a very rushed development cycle for a game, especially due to constraints from Bethesda and high expectations from fans who were looking for a game like Fallout 3. which was hugely successful. Somehow, in that short amount of time, they created one of the best western RPG's ever, and my favorite game of all time. The sheer amount of things to do in this game is astounding, with roleplay mechanics to back up its many quests. The main and side factions are intriguing, the companions are fun and interesting, and the main story is amazing, with a plot that keeps you interested throughout its runtime. Complemented with good DLC (specifically Lonesome Road and Old World Blues), this game is a must-buy for any RPG fan.

While often overlooked as the "black sheep" of the Arkham franchise, Arkham Origins is still an amazing game. With one of the best stories in the series (only overtaken by the narrative of City), the addition of crime scene investigations that are legitimately fun, and the same addictive gameplay trinity of exploration, combat, and stealth that keeps going strong in this title. The only downsides are the varying bugs in the PC port, and the overall shorter game length compared to Asylum, City, and Knight. Other than that, great music, fun ideas, and some sick villains.

(Also this game turns Bane into an actual character)
