I'm writing this at 8:35 PM, Central Time, on September 23rd, 2021. I finished this wonderful experience at 8:29, only a few minutes ago. TL;DR at the very bottom.

First... I played the first Life is Strange, as well as Before the Storm. I am in love with this game and it's universe. I played Captain Spirit, and watched someone play Life is Strange 2. Before the Storm was my favourite, and still is in a lot of regards, but this one is too.

This game universe has brought me happiness. Joy. Dopamine and serotonin. I've been able to understand and relate with the characters in these games, especially with Alex in this one.
This one... was different though. It didn't just bring me happiness. It brought anger.. fear.. sadness. All in the way a game should. This game resonates with where I am at in life right now in a lot of ways. I understand Alex's loss, sense of belonging, and sudden bursts of hatred or sadness. I can thank my sibling for giving me the money for this game as a birthday present.. otherwise, I don't know when I would have been able to buy and play this game.

Now, from here on, there may be spoilers. You have been warned.

This game is a wonderful experience. It looks phenomenal.. feels phenomenal. There may be some places where animation could be a little better, but it doesn't matter. The positives of the graphics, but more importantly the experience and story, HEAVILY outweigh the negatives. This game will send you on an emotional roller-coaster. From the sudden death of Gabe making you cry, then the amazing LARP with Ethan making you smile, laugh, and be filled with joy, then Jed out of the blue pointing a 1911 at you and firing it, just when you felt like you had closure for your brothers death. This game made me smile, cry, laugh, snarl, get angry, get sad, etc.

Life is Strange: True Colors is truly an amazing game. It's sad that I had to see the credits roll. I didn't want this experience to end; I started it 4 days ago, on September 19th. I've played this and only this every night when I get home since then, and I do not regret a single minute of it.
The atmosphere. The inclusion of Steph. The option between being lesbian, straight, or pansexual/bisexual is wonderful. I do wish that music had more meaning in this game, like another reviewer posted earlier this week, but personally it didn't change all that much for me. I still had one of the best gaming experiences of my life with this game. I thank you, truly,. Deck Nine and Square Enix, for making and publishing this game.

It made me cry. It made me laugh. It made me euphoric, it made me depressed. It sent me on one hell of an emotional roller-coaster and I look forward to playing Wavelengths. Thank you so much for making such an amazing game, and I look forward to any future iterations you all potentially develop. Thank you.

Conclusion/TL;DR; This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AMAZING. It is true to the Life is Strange title and a wonderful experience, and I look forward to playing it over and over again, seeing how I can change things :) I recommend it 200%!
