Same addictive gameplay loop as Balatro. It's beautiful early 2000's esque graphics bring me back to a simpler time where the only goal is number get bigger. 10/10

literally not worth it if you're more than an hour or so into the game. It's basically a tip jar if you want to support the devs a little more.

this was a real pain to get through and feels like it was made entirely by a different team from the base game. the AI of the main enemy never loses aggro on you unless you fully leave the area, and there isn't much in terms of psychological horror being the main threat. it's just the wildlife. like a 3/10 at best

new mechanics and boat size upgrades r great. story is nice but the ending kind of sucks. the entire visual vibe really clashes with the rest of the game and can make progressing through the main story a little more difficult if you haven't done that already. I'd give it like a 5/10

The base game is a 10/10 game. Enough psychological horror to get you thinking too much, without being overdramatic. the game is great at luring you into a false sense of security and keeping that eerie, uneasy feeling in your gut.

VERY good game. I genuinely like this game more than Pokemon. A living economy, transparency about what all the numbers mean, etc. Easier to play and genuinely a ton of fun. 10/10 game

It feels much slower and less polished than rivals 1. I encountered multiple bugs on steam deck and the thing crashed on me twice

You aren't really buying anything new. There isn't anything gameplay wise that you're getting from this. If you're worried about missing out on something by not having this, don't. This is just a way to support the devs for making a game that constantly listens to player feedback, constantly adds more content, and overall EARNED that GOTY nomination.
