(Edit as of 21st of November 2023: Some of the old enviroments and cars are back with different physics, surfaces etc!)

The best stadium experience out of all Trackmania's that includes stadium as enviroment, don't let others convince you otherwise.
I love TMNF, TMUF and Stadium2 but Trackmania (2020) just does nearly everything better.

Better editor, better physics, more surfaces, online in-game leaderboards, new mostly good campaigns every 3 months, Cup of the Day, Ranked, less glitchy (Talking mostly about you: Landing bug and Dirt from TMNF/UF!!!), in game list of community made maps, better graphics (obviously), active community, better plugins etc.

Cons:
-Can be quite demanding in terms of specs requirements, on my GTX 960 I wasn't reaching 60 fps on medium / low settings, now on RX 6700 XT on 1440p I don't think I've ever reached 144 fps on my 144hz monitor.
~Subscription
-From what I heard split screen / hot-seat mode is lackluster and buggy
-You have to use the insanely bad Ubisoft Connect launcher
For now I can't think of more cons tbh

NOW ABOUT THE SUBSCRIPTION MODEL:

I actually think it's not bad. It's not expensive, 20$ a year (Now with the recent changes you will get Full Access for 20$ that costed 30$, but there won't be Standard Access that costed 10$) is dirt cheap for full access. You're basically paying less than 2$ a month for a game that has been receiving constant updates, support, new content etc. constantly for 3 years and probably will get even more for more years, while there are no micro-transactions at all!

Pretty much every subscription for anything on the internet is more costly than Trackmania 2020.
Discord Nitro? ~110$ a year
YouTube Premium? ~70$
Spotify? ~70$ too
Netflix? ~85$

I know that for an example from Netflix's subscription you get access to tons of movies, TV series etc. so it's not fully comparable but you get the thing.

One of not many subscriptions that get close to Trackmania's price would be Nintendo Switch Online which costs 20$ a year too.
AND don't forget that there are sales for Trackmania's subscriptions sometimes. I used that opportunity to get 3 years plan for even cheaper!
