A lot of people complain about how it's now impossible to 100% this game, due to servers going offline. If this is a deal-breaker don't buy it. However, if you don't care very much for faux internet accolades - this is a very good game.

This review is for people who've played Skyrim and are now considering buying its predecessor.

While Skyrim is more action oriented, Oblivion is more role playing oriented. Not to say that Oblivion is lacking in action, but rather it has many features that were removed in Skyrim.

Such features include:

Disposition - A numerical value that NPCs have that determines how much they like you. You can bribe them, attempt to persuade them, or do favors for them (quests) to raise it. If the person is a merchant, you can haggle with them to adjust exactly how much you buy/sell items for.

Acrobatics & Athletics - Two skills that govern jumping and running/swimming, respectively.

Classes & Birthsigns - Oblivion has a class system that affects what skills and attributes (more on that later) are your specialization. Additionally, a character is born under a birthsign which grants additional benefits. A birthsign's benefits can be likened to the Standing Stones in Skyrim. Both your characters class and birthsign are chosen in the beginning tutorial along with the character's race and appearance - similar to Skyrim.

Skills & Attributes - There are twenty one skills in Oblivion (As opposed to Skyrim's 18). These range from the familiar Sneak and Block skills and include a few that were removed in Skyrim, such as Athletics and Mysticism (A school of magic that consists of spells like Soul Trap and Telekinesis). Only your seven major skills contribute to leveling up, and are determined by your class. All skills fall under one of seven attributes (There is an eighth attribute, Luck, but it no skills specifically). For example: Conjuration, Mysticism, and Alchemy are governed by Intelligence, while the Blunt, Blade, and Hand to Hand skills fall under Strength.

Leveling - There is no leveling skill tree in Oblivion. When leveling up you instead choose three attributes to increase. Attributes that govern skills that you have gained skill points in can be increased for more than one, so there is an incentive to increase attributes that one actually uses. For example, think of a mage using lots of Conjuration spells and increasing their Conjuration skill level significantly, since Conjuration is governed by Intelligence, when they level up they will likely be able to increase their Intelligence attribute by two or three, as opposed to only one.

There are other differences between the two games, but these are the major ones that came to mind.

tldr;

Oblivion has more Role Playing elements than Skyrim, but make no mistake, Oblivion contains its fair share of hack n' slash adventuring. If you liked Skyrim for more than just killing, try Oblivion.

CVE-2018-10718
Stack-based buffer overflow in Activision Infinity Ward Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 before 2018-04-26 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted packets.

CVE-2018-20817
SV_SteamAuthClient in various Activision Infinity Ward Call of Duty games before 2015-08-11 is missing a size check when reading authBlob data into a buffer, which allows one to execute code on the remote target machine when sending a steam authentication request. This affects Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Call of Duty: Black Ops 1, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
Bo3 is also included as it does not protect you from any security breaches.
For anyone who isnt experienced with this kind of thing, RAT stands for "Remote Access Trojan".
