Fallout 4 is a fun game, in its own right, as I have stated in my review for the main game... However, the season pass (and all the DLC it covers) is an absolute disgrace.

Instead of doing a "pros and cons" for this (because, let's be honest, there are no pros) I'm just going to spew out my opinion on the season pass and the DLC as a whole.

Why I really just despise it
  • Despite the fact that I got the season pass back when it was £20, the current asking price is so utterly ridiculous. Firstly, making the price the same as the base game is idiotic, doing so would suggest I am buying DLC that could play as it's own game (SHOCKER, none of it can).
  • Secondly, £40 for six pieces of add-on content (which could've easily been added by mods, and actually has been (Automnatron - Robot Home Defence, Vault-tec Workshop - Build your own Vault, Workshop DLCx2 - Home maker + Settlement Supplies Extended)), with only two pieces of actual DLC, which adds a new location and more quests to do.
  • Six of the seven DLC, that's been released, is for a feature that they said would not be primary in the game, this being settlement building.
  • The DLC has felt like filler, and could've easily been implemented in the base game.
  • Instead of expanding the amount of quests a player can do - which is very little in the base game - they've decided to give me set dressing.
What I kinda like about the season pass/dlc
  • Far Harbor was quite good, new content and stuff to do

Overview
Would you look at that. A whole one thing I like about the DLC, more than I expected to be honest.
2/10 ~ Far Harbor was alright
