The performance is ass, recommend you stay away if you don't have a PC build to fight god.
If you can run it this is peak monster hunter.

Marked improvement over the first game in almost every way. This feels like the type of RPG Bethesda wishes they could make.

This is a bit difficult for me to decide.. I'll recommend the game since I did enjoy it and game play wise I think it is the natural progression for the sequel. The multi-settlement system is fun and offers some verity (though eventually just becomes a set and forget affair). The resource management was fun and I like how you can make use of a verity of approaches through the research tree and policies. The faction trust system was kinda uninteresting tbh. You can pretty easily keep everyone happy enough. Yea it had some effect on what laws I could pass but it was never something I couldn't meaninglessly override by granting some promise or literally toggling the "pls vote yes" switch. I also didn't even realise it affected what technologies I could access via research until basically the end of the game.

All that being said, I finished the story feeling kinda meh. The ending was abrupt and doesn't really feel like it concluded some of the plot-lines it was building. I literally said out loud "oh, im done?". Its a huge contrast to the tense, on the edge feeling I got from the final chapter of the previous game. I played on the second hardest difficulty too and I found it quite easy. It was missing that tense feeling the first game was able to create so well.

I will be playing some of the endless mode to see how it plays out.
