If you are looking for a game that makes you go through many emotions and occasional arrhythmia in one hour segments, this is it. I've walked around, viewed the scenery, get jumped by a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanical headcrab and had to yank the SOB off while trying to stay quiet as I panic and beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of my head with my controller , solved simple and complex physics puzzles, and felt like John friggin Wick as I use my Glock to slay (null)bodies. The physics are absolutely incredible. Like grabbing a sledgehammer and trying to beat guys down feels sluggish and heavy, while taking a hatchet and laying waste feels nimble and quick. The object physics are about what you'd expect; it's very similar to HL2 with the puzzles. The firearms are pretty smooth. Handguns are simple, the M16/4 are okay, not the best. They just feel too heavy, which they aren't as cumbersome in the real. Besides rambling about my experiences, I just wanted to give this a positive rate as I saw a bunch of dorks whining about it not working for their sets. To address the biggest complaint here: Yes, it might not save a lot.. Not even sure when/if it saves. I get around this by completing the level. Just make sure you block off an hour to complete it (that's exploring everything too.)
