Like a few others, I purchased BOS as soon as it hit Steam some odd years ago. I was a HUGE fan of 1946 and the great memories I had flying campaigns and dogfighting Zeros over the Pacific. The first impressions I had the many years ago was "hmm, it's funish, but not 1946". Through the years I kept coming back and trying it out after major updates and saying "wow! that's pretty neat!". I can now say (after I forked over my wallet, emptied my savings, and handed the dev the keys to my house) that all the updates and DLCs have established this as the GOAT WW2 Flight Sim. Yeah, the business model isn't the greatest or most consumer friendly, but I swear I'll keep making it rain if they keep dropping bomb content.
