A really great action-shooter game!

I just went through the basic campaign and imo feels a bit too short or ends too soon maybe cause its really that good it hooked me in and I kinda counted on more but it just ended kinda like prematurely :C

Reminds me of Bad Company 2 that I really enjoyed and liked very very much back on x360.
But goes way smoother as an fps on pc instead.

Still it could be better overall and without its bugs/glitches. It just has its slight imperfections that are there and can annoy you but they are not like heavy enough to make it considerably worse however it still gives the feeling that It could be even better and make it completely amazing!

The multiplayer seems really fun, just needs to get used to it

Have fun!

Hi all,

This game is really quite decent, even though with bit dated graphics. Now proly even more.
However its a bit specific, and I mean everything about it kinda is.
The strongest side of this game imo is the fighting mechanic which is really fun. And im talking about fighting on land and not the flight unit battles. The boss battles also are kinda weird.
The world itself is strange, same goes for the story and all else. I guess that it has its own theme and you can like it or not or be like me, somewhere in between.
I think its strongly a console-type game and it tries to go a bit retro but its not really my thing so i cant say that it makes it better.
Still I consider this a good game and had fun with completing it (once).
Not entirely sure if to go for the next part

Have fun!

Hi all,

I will start off with defining that I recommend all Arkane Studios games I got to try so far, and that would be the whole Dishonored series, and this Prey game am describing right now.

I will furthermore say that I will try any of their new to-be upcoming games goin in blind, thats the kind of an impression they made on me.

However this new game of a completely different setting from Dishonored series is slightly strange.

I mean the whole setting in space 'horror' (more of a stealthy adventure with scary and disturbing pieces than an actual horror) is great. I consider the whole setting and the beginning to be absolutely amazing. I got really hooked in and really deep.

The 'problem' (and thats only my own personal opinion of it) starts after the 'second part' of the game. If you consider anything in-depth of the game more than overall statements then skip this if you consider it could be a spoiler.

It's supposed to be a real grim and absolutely lethal danger, the whole alien possible invasion right? But I somehow have tons of side quests to do around the a bit too big of a space station (imo). It spreads the game even wider and further and I dont exactly know why, the game and space station (game area) is already way B I G and maybe too big a bit. It becomes less substantial and that goes against the whole point of the story right? - BUT I am writing this still not yet completing the game, because after a longer while of going all around the foken station trying to complete the side quests and then again going back to main questline back and forth I just lose that feelin which is best about this game and precisely what hooked me in deep. Wanting to learn more about the whole alien thing and everything around it and then to follow the story and bring it to closure expecting a great ending but after a while I dont even consider it a real threat and start to think its a bit of a fun hunting and cleaning the station of the aliens without a real care in the world (i mean cosmos) running around.

At the time being right now it shows 57 hours however I don't think its all actual pure gameplay time but I need to take a break for a bit since I momentary lost the determination, so there will be an update coming.

Anyway, the game is still G R E A T, no doubt about it, and its B I G and more than that, its actually also D E E P so you can spend a lot of time in it and its well worth it so far (you can turn the blind eye to this 'problem' of mine taking the bigger picture into consideration)

HAVE FUN!

I just got to play this game at the beginning of 2021, but still, the graphics are sikkk.
I enjoyed this game that is not without its flaws.
Past the amazing graphics (ID's engine is really fkn great) and designs (of basically everything in the game) it does not offer anything really above the average and gets boring after a while.
Not completely mindlessly blasting your way forward through more and more stronger and stronger demons, is what this game is basically all about.
Running though the level from one area to another, using fancy weapons, their modes, and finishers to get the demons out the way and go next and next and fight some bosses later on.
I could not feel anything (like story, characters or setting) that would hook me in and want me to play more and more. Instead, the longer I played the more I had the feeling that this game could end already and be better instead.

However, overall, it was still a great game. It could have not really pulled me in only personally.
Happy to get it cheaper after the years to complete, but its not like a title to go straight for the sequel for me.
Have Fun!

a very fun game for fookin sh1t up massively A F with insane graphs without high req. imo
funny dialogue and comments while you just keep cuttin thru dem demons n sh1t
really cool setting, locations, weapons, monsters and bosses
not too deep of a story but enough to make you push through more and more forward
awkward upgrading tho, should be a bit simplified imo, you pick up tons of that sh1t that you wont even use and to manually fuse the materials is just a bother, i think its pointless. the weapons should just have its unique stats and abilities or whatever
since the gameplay is pretty straightforward it may bore you after a longer while so maybe a bit of a RPG wouldnt be a bad idea

thats all I can gather from my blank brain, hope it helps!

Listen all, its a great game over all and I had loads of fun with it.
As you can see I took my time with it too and it was fun and great.
It has its own theme and way to get you hooked, plus I dont mind it being mainly a shooter.
The open world is great and everything just sit so well with me.

Even though, I am not gonna complete this game being just at its final stage.

Now this is a spoiler so BEWARE!

The reason being I do not like the only option being a betrayal one of the forces and then another to stay with the final faction.
Its just not my cup of tea.

I would imagine taking Brotherhood of Steel under my control, making it work alongside the Institute that I am just about to become a Director of, and further connect with the Railroad.
We would establish a way of freedom for Synths, keep the world above ground safe and secure and work on making the living there as best as we can. Thats my idea for it and I would not accept any less. I am capable.

I am writing this short review as best and honest as I can, however at the moment my brain capabilities does not look so bright.
Hope I help to get you a picture about the game!

EPIC GAME! (even though it really feels that it's been made for console or at least for a gamepad style - playing with keyboard+mouse was kinda really awkward)
That last boss really took my time but feels damn good finally getting rid of him!
FOOK U ARMSTRONGGG U BASTURD KEKE!

You can really feel it's Platinum behind this game, and I've got to know them from Bayonetta (on xbox360 tho/another EPIC imo) and this game is similiar : Epic graphics, tons of action and boss fights, really fooken great!

Would defo buy&play the next one if it comes out and I hope it will!
