The game is fun, i enjoy it. Biggest complaint- I'm not happy that the devs aren't interested in letting us change our account names or letting us use nicknames. I made my account in beta thinking it wouldn't be permanent and absolutely hate my name and am stuck with it now. Upvote the name change suggestion here if you have time.

Where a few months ago i would've highly recommended this game, and DID, i can't any longer. Constant bugs, cosmetics are too pricey, and the new influx of players has people chopping grove with no f*cks about anyone close by who might want to come. I've given away 6 mil in rare resources and fish and haven't been able to replenish my flow wood because inconsiderate people are just doing what they do best. Play this casually but keep your expectations low and don't spend your money.
Edit: The mods openly do not enforce their rules and people weaponize this to cause fights in chat. Not very cozy. If you want to enjoy this game to it's fullest, turn off chat.

My husband and i love it so far. It's not completely balanced but that's like the only con and it's still really fun. Lets us cook more complicated dishes!

Edit: My husband is color blind to all shades of red and some green and i have to be his shroud guide dog which i don't mind but can be slightly frustrating for him. It would be a great service to us if you could please make a (red/green) color blind option that makes the deadly shroud and the Mycelium rivers yellow instead of red. This is currently sitting (at time of writing) on the bottom of the suggestions page at 81 votes and i'm concerned that this important accessibility option will go unnoticed. The thread has multiple people that have commented who are color blind or have partners or family members that are color blind who have died many times (frustratingly) because they can't see these dangers that are so important to the core of the game.
For anyone who reads this we would appreciate if you would upvote this important feature.

Vampire apex, BETTER than apex. I've been traumatized that they stopped development. :( but ill never give this game up. !save BLOODHUNT

You'll read the other reviews and many of the cons say that there's cheaters and that ps BS aim assist is a problem and it is. But the game is very much fun if you can put that aside.

Final impression: At the moment, this game is pretty ♥♥♥♥ lmao. There's no point investing a lot of time and money in it.
I played a game of each monster and it really feels like ♥♥♥♥ when you can be right on top of a play trying to attack and somehow your shots are missing. Like the players are at waist level and your shots aren't connecting somehow. It provided a good laugh for my stream at least.

I love this game. It's a fun time passer as a SAHM. I've even gotten my husband and younger brother to try it and they have been really enjoying it. I do hope that they eventually give subscribers more storage spots, and that you get a a game lore inventory where you can keep 1 copy of every individual piece of lore you find, because i tried to keep all the unique ones i found and ended up with half my stash full so i had no other choice but to get rid of everything except the audio tapes. :( All in all, i highly recommend this game and hope to see it go much further.

This game is way too scary to not be noticed. Not to mention HARD. I'm still in the second area of the FIRST spawn area.
