Genuinely better than Forsaken

Good campaign, not much after that imo

After obtaining every item and spending 40 hours in the previous entry of the Garfield Kart game series, I was eager to spend time playing this as the graphics seemed to have improved much further and many quality of life changes the first game was lacking seemed present. After purchasing the money with my mother's credit card, I began to notice that though they took many steps forward they took many back.

Things Improved:
-The Drifting System, though I appreciated the first game's, this one is much more realistic
-The Graphics, physically stunning, I cried for at least 10 minutes seeing the gorgeous graphics engine at work
-Dedicated Multiplayer rather than having to open beta options
-UI Overhaul making the experience much more visually pleasing
-Nerf to Sleeping Item
-Overall good balancing of items

Downgrades:
-Unexpected collision deaths not present in the first game
-Janky movement of AI and of the player
-No mouse support in the main menu from what I can see (I could be missing something here)
-Original maps are slightly changed to the point where returning players doing old techniques are punished by death (pog)

Overall, I would recommend this game to anyone starting out with the Garfield Kart games, however for returning players who invested large amounts of time in the first game I would buy on sale. Though there are many good parts of this sequel, there are many massive issues that need addressing. I will play the game for at least 10 more hours and I will change this review in case my opinion changes.

I bought this thinking I would only get 1700 silver and an emote, little did I know Luke Smith would personally greet me at my door with a hug and an invitation to the super secret Bungie Gambit Headquarters. 10/10 would buy again.

Either get Digital Deluxe or don't get it at all
