If you buy this game, buy it for the story when its on sale. its a good game singleplayer, but the multiplayer is filled with hackers and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. first multiplayer match i EVER played someone stole my name and said racist ♥♥♥♥ in my name. the campaign is a blast though, so overall worth it if its on sale

just to get this out of the way, I DO recommend this game and over all, it IS worth playing.

I really want to love this game. Its a great game! But there are far too many bad gameplay decisions and bugs, and over just bad game design that i cant really say I fully enjoyed my time with the game. For example, standard zombies can pull the player into a QTE where the player has to shake them off, but the QTE is nearly unavoidable, and they can sometimes grab you from behind solid objects. Not only does this completely break the flow of the game, it also allows other zombies to gang up on you and kill you while you're completely defenseless. Along with spongey enemies that you are forced to kill with extremely underpowered weapons, the game has a bunch of moments that are just unfair. The other example I have in mind is a spoiler for the main story so I wont say it here. This game is not a bad game. But it is nearly impossible to enjoy fully with all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Like after one story mission, you cant sprint. reloading doesnt help, its not intended, and it makes the game essentially unplayable for a while.

Picked it up for 5 dollars on sale, great game! I would call it a semi-open world, as its not just one big area, but several smaller open worlds. Not much for side content, but the main story and basic gameplay loop should keep you entertained enough. Game looks beautiful, although some of the character facial animations are a bit jank. The english voice acting is servicable, but not great, but the sound design is top notch. Overall, would recommend!

never played a game quite like it! If you like survival, exploration, and mystery solving, youll LOVE this game.

I wish I could give this game a sideways thumb. It is fun for quite a while, the graphics are beautiful, and the story, while not great, is serviceable. The biggest problem for me is the price. This game is worth $30 at MOST. MAYBE $60 if they included all the DLC and season pass. It gets boring before the story is finished, and possible the most insane thing: they still haven't even added working blood, bulletholes, or footprints. If they added bloodpools, hit feedback for enemies, and bulletholes that last more than half a second, this game would be a 7/10, but as it stands: 5/10 only buy if on SERIOUS sale.




But there IS a cute little crocodile named "Guapo," which means handsome in spanish, which brings the rating up to a reasonable 10/10. Biggest tit I EVER see.

TLDR: 9/10 Beautiful art, great gameplay. Story needs more work. Makes my computer very hot. Great ambiance, overall good game.

I really like this game. The story mode is not finished after a LONG time of being in the works, but the survival sandbox more than makes up for that. Great survival game that is somehow both nerve-rackingly stressful and intense, while also being extremely cozy and warm feeling. The artstyle is very unique and pretty well executed. Everything is modeled in a slightly lower-poly style, and looks like its been hand painted. My one big gripe with the game is that although it may not look the part, this game is deceptively difficult to run. I have a pretty good gaming PC, so FPS want as much as a problem, but it gets REALLY HOT. My core temperatures are the highest playing this game out of any other. This may just be a hardware issue but I don't think it is. But with all that said, I really enjoy this game so far, and intend to spend many more hours with it.

Funny as all hell! Ive heard people ♥♥♥♥ on this game and their points are valid, its not quite as well written as some of the other far cry games, but boy is it fun to launch a shovel into someones skull like a damn javelin
