Firstly, I love Team Fortress 2. It's an incredibly fun game. It was an important part of my childhood and shaping the person I am today.

Now that that's been said for the bajillionth time, I hate the state of TF2. For a long time the issue was simple neglect, but now, it's bots.

Bots that instantly kill players who aren't paying their owners money.
Bots that are run, paid for, and endorsed by "people" who break the law and put others at risk in order to keep doing what they're doing.
Bots that make it impossible to talk to other players because you have to mute and hide chat else risk being exposed to illegal content.
Bots that join games specifically to kick actual players.
Bots that give Valve money so they can do all of the above unimpeded.
Bots that make it impossible to enjoy Team Fortress 2 anymore.

I'm no expert, so I don't know if it's just Valve being either too lazy or apathetic to the problem because of how much of a cash cow this game is even with the bots, or if they're working on something and have been. All I and the rest of the community know is that Valve DOES know.
Not just what Valve is or is not doing about it, but also ABOUT the bots.
They've been aware, and likely as long as we have been, but all they've done is change the vote system and made it harder for people who want to play the game for free to enjoy themselves because they can no longer communicate with other players AT ALL.

I hope one day that I can positively review this game, but for now? I cannot recommend playing TF2.
It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and the only ones that can un-♥♥♥♥ it, haven't.

Amazing physics simulation and the engineering thought put into the game and user content is superb

This game is legitimately scary. Fooling around yelling the ghost's name all you want until you hear one of your friends just curse and go silent is worth the price. No matter how it changes.

I thoroughly enjoy this game.
