In my opinion SE4 is very good, the graphics are better than the older ones but not perfect which is a good balance between a newer game having decent graphics but you don't have to pay an insane price for it i enjoyed my time playing this with friends at home after school hours :)

The gameplay is nothing to write home about, but the incredibly eerie atmosphere it creates using its monotone art style and impeccable sound design is some of the best I've seen in a long time. Though short, I personally loved the game. It helped that I played it in the dark, really helps with the mood

4A did a fantastic job with the atmosphere. I like all the little gameplay elements such as limited HUD, wiping blood/rain/fog from the gas mask, the lighter and map, having to charge your flashlight, and then your watch. Gunplay isn’t the best but with limited ammo and little light the fights could get intense. Also it had some interesting weapons. Story was fairly decent. What I really enjoyed too was how intense the game could be. The supernatural parts were handled pretty well too I thought. The part where you have to move through the building while keeping eye contact with those monsters was great.

Better than some of the paid games good time killer , recommended👍

A MASTERPIECE IMO

"Sorry kid, Joe wasn't part of our deal" hits me so hard even after so many years, one of the best and saddest ending in game history for me

Glad i was able to make it through. I also started it without knowing anything about it but the hype, but eventually grew a little bored and frustrated the got immersed. I can see why it was such a big hit. Much like an experimental film it doesn’t seem like it was made for mass consumption, but rather to convey an artistic vision. I greatly respect it for that, it just didn’t end up connecting some people.

Just get the damn black background!!

The predator and alien campaign were absolutely awesome though short, you literally feel immersed as the alien or predator. the human campaign's okay too, kinda like alien isolation but with more guns in the earlier missions. haven't tested the multiplayer

The game's got some of the most memorable (and some of my most favorite) sequences I've ever experienced, coming mainly from the latter half of the game. No spoilers, just in case.

Maybe it'll be worth it to keep going just for those moments. But don't force yourself through it if its not jiving with you. Dead Space 2 is a fantastic sequel, but I know there are some who just don't care for it like the first one, and that's valid. Definitely worth my money and time :)
