The devs are greedy and will try to milk you for money at every step. I've enjoyed my time here, but the greed never ends. Don't waste you time with this horrible game.

This is why live service games that you have zero control over will eventually turn into greed-fest. Don't listen to people trying to cope that this game is somehow "fair". It isn't - it will try to manipulate you into spending more and more money, pretending that you "can play for free".

You can't. Unless you have LITERALLY 10k hours to spend mindlessly grinding and having no fun doing it.

Hello!
As you said, you have to use the market to get some in-game coins. Its a basic part of Crossout: you can use the market to getting all in-game parts that affect to the battle. So you dont have to pay some real money to get any weapons, hardwares and so on.
