Simple relaxing game, great customisation options, great scenery in the newer updated areas 10/10

Unfinished and buggy over a year after release with most dlc & post launch content still nowhere to be seen, however the only option for rally raid fans.

Takes a long time to unlock the proper Dakar rally events with simulation mode which will take around 8-10h to finish each event.

Map is nice, most realistic outside of the arcade racer events which have weird weather and manufactured jumps etc.

Decent vehicle choice, all of them look great and the sound is pretty solid.

Damage model is weird even on sim mode, you can land ridiculously high jumps without damage as long as you land on your wheels.

Needs more multi class ai on stages as they feel quite barren with nobody else around.

Needs a significant amount of bug fixes.

7/10 from a diehard Dakar fan

Solid game. I've had absolutely zero issues with a GTX 1070 and i5 6600K. Running on Max settings I'm getting constant 110-130 FPS and haven't dropped below 100. Graphics are very pretty and the maps look nice and fit the theme well. Sounds are pretty meh but the guns looks great and the sniper feels SLICK. The music is trying too hard to be intense and serious for whatever this attempt is to be authentic and realistic which just makes the whole game feel like a joke. Fun game to play a few matches but there's no way I'd be spending any money for this.

7.5/10 as a COD game.
6/10 as a game
