We have driven the automatons out of the Sony headquarters but this special order isn't over. We need to be ever vigilant for threats to democracy.

Just disappointing sadly was super excited to play but feels like it doesn't belong in the series.

I just wanna start by clearing up that I am very biased as I love not only dinosaurs but the Jurassic Park/World series so please do take this review with a grain of salt.

Graphics are pretty darn good they could stand to be a bit sharper everything seems to have just the air of fuzz on the edges when you zoom in the lines just aren't super clean.

Story, well I am conflicted on this one. It is a park building game so story just usually isn't a thing, that being said however there is a definitive direction the game pulls you towards.
As for the "factions" system sadly I was not as impressed as I was hoping for. The hype over played the difficulty of appeasing the individual factions and all in all the +/- to your actions doesn't seem to have a major impact. For instance on the first island I found early on I could focus hard on one faction ignoring the others unless a random contract came out get all the rewards and then move on to the next one with no real reprecussions the occasional sabotage was very easy to overcome and did not affect my park.

Game Breaking bugs. So for I haven't encountered any true bugs that would break the game which is surprising most titles at launch seem jam packed with them. There were a couple of small bugs I encountered that did break the emersion of running my park. One set of my fences just disapreared for no reason (they aren't expensive at all hence why it isn't game breaking) ((also dinosaurs are supposed to break fences and escape)) even though there were no dinosaurs in that pen to break the fence not sure what happened there. The other emersion break I had I doubt could be classified as a bug but rather an unintended consequence of the park visitor AI. When the afformentioned fence break happened the guests panicked and started running willy nilly. Fixing the fence and moving things around a little bit later I noticed a guest had gotten themselves trapped inside the enclosure. With no way of getting the guest outside the fence with standard controls I had to do a bit of out side the box thinking.

Emersion / Replayability I got sucked into the game straight away and didn't break away from it till well after my wife had woken up and left for work. As for replayability I think as with all park building style games that depends on you. If you are the kind of person who likes to build parks in different ways or see how fast you can become the best park around then yes LOADS of replayability. If you are the kind of person who plays a game pretty much the same way everytime because you know that works then I probably wouldn't spend your money.
The biggest thing that kept sucking me out is I don't think they got Chris Pratt to do the voice of his own character the voice is off and it bugs the living daylights out of me. Then if they did in fact get him to voice his character then well they did a poor job on the sound board because it is wrong.

Overall Gameplay / Feel I love the game and will for sure be spending many more hours playing in the next few days. Completionism in these types of games is my thing so I won't be happy till I have achieved that; however there are a few things that are really missing. Better camera control for a starters, it isn't that the control is bad, it just isn't good. The response time is a bit sluggish and not very intuitive I keep finding myself wanting to drag and drop or use the scroll wheel where those are set for other things. pacing is very good it was rare to not have something to do whether it be researching more improvements releasing dinosaurs so on and so forth. All in all I think that the game is excellent and I have faith in the developers track record to support the title long enough to iron out the minor issues that I have and release new content as well.

EDIT: After reading some of the other reviews the one thing that became abundantly clear.
A) most didn't play the game long enough to either find their complaint didn't hold water as it gets addressed rather quickly i.e. nothing to do but release dinosaurs.
B) have a lack of imagination and failed at building a part for a myriad of reasons. I.e carnivores killed all their herbavores, small maps.
I found the starting map actually had too much room as I wasn't even able to reliably make a park run in the full space allowed. Besides you are on a rather small island off the coast of Costa Rica how much room do you think you could actually build on.
C) Are bitter that this wasn't re-release of Jurassic Park Operation Genisis < Good game but a different game. These are the type of people who would complaign if they rebooted a series that they grew up with but didn't personally like the new stuff because it was too different from the old stuff *cough* star wars fans *cough* star trek fans.
