Gameplay wise it is still a pretty solid game

Edit: Servers are bad. Players are often disconnected from the game and get penalized for something entirely outside their control. Fix your servers blizz.

This game taught me to get myself friends that will stick with me through thick and thin like Nanba and Adachi

A good and simple game for platformer lovers, bonus points if you're into League of Legends lore.
However, for how short the content is, it is overpriced atm.
Better to get it when there's a discount.

Amazing tactical turn-based RPG with team building. The plot is kinda cliche where a villain rises to destroy the world and you have to stop it, but exploration and combat system aspect makes up for it by a lot.

The only lacking thing is NG+ as you:
- Gets to keep the whole roster from start with their friendship level
- Levels are reset
- Inventory is reset (all cards gone)
- Only glimmer (cosmetic currency) is carried over
- Unlocked combat cosmetics (e.g. the final combat costume), but have to repurchase everything else
- Hunter alignment is reset
- Still have to bring required Heroes for story missions

As of current state, the post-game content is more palatable compared to NG+ until maybe the DLC drops and you want to - let's say - bring Deadpool (first DLC hero) for all missions.

Disclaimer: this game is 70% VN and 30% Tactical Turn-based RPG.
If you're a fan of digimon and/or likes VN with decent story and plot twists, then this is it for you.
If you're solely looking for Tactical Turn-based RPG, stay away from this.

Pros:
- Decent story telling with 4 possible endings (with 1 only possible in NG+)
- Wide variety of Digimon to unlock if you're into collecting stuff

Cons:
- Poorly implemented combat system where it all simply boils down to stats beatdown
- Unlocking other endings gets repetitive since everything's exactly the same until the crossroads
- Horrible capture system with spice of RNG to ensure you have a tough time completing the dex
- NG+ doesn't carry over anything aside from the Free Digimons and unlocked evolutions

Opponent Viego can decimate my team alone 11/10

You get 2 additional jobs (1 male and 1 female) and they kinda provide...nothing. Existing jobs are way better at doing whatever these 2 are meant to, and the bonus skills + stats you gain are totally useless. Also do note that better weapons for these classes aren't accessible until past mid-game.

The best single-player MMORPG ever made. Only bad thing is that your reserve characters don't get exp, but you could easily find a mod to workaround that.

Other JRPGs have teenagers with tragic background saving the world with the power of friendship and here we have a 40 year old NEET finding out friendship and becomes a local hero

The game content is clearable within 90 mins max so you can speedrun this while beating your meat then get a refund!


P.S. Seriously tho don't do this, support the devs if this entertains you in any sort of way.
