Genuinely a fantastic trilogy, never played Mass Effect before the release of the legendary edition however I'm a massive fan now, totally hooked! I'd definitely recommend this game!

After about 30 hours into the game and 1 week from release, for me so far I've had a few bugs, albeit mostly minor, nothing game breaking although I have had to restart the game several times to fix bugs with sound or weapons.

Experiencing this game I have realised the real adult and mature theme of this game CDPR we're aiming for. The game really touches of some sensitive topics such as domestic violence, sexual violence and suicide in a thought provoking and immersive way. Some of the characters I've encountered have made me really feel that as V I've developed caring friendship for some of them with a real invested interest in their emotions and futures. When these characters go through dark moments I can feel and empathise their pain. Particularly with Judy and Evelyns storylines.

Gameplay - 8/10
Storytelling - 9/10 (would be 10/10 but bugs sometimes break immersion.

To sum it up, I'm excited to see what this game has to offer in the future and with bug fixes and DLC I think this will be an excellent game, but right now its good.

Thrones of Britannia is very similar to Attila in terms of mechanics and gameplay. I personally believe ToB does find itself in a better era and geographic location than Attila and thus is a more fun game. Systems like public order, family tree and politics are now more refined and are ignored less. ToB definitely puts its own spin on the Total War series and in many ways has actually improved on many systems such as food and politics in my opinion.

If you enjoyed Attila then this is definitely a game you will enjoy, with that being said if you didn't enjoy Attila then I wouldn't necessarily rule this game out yet. There is definitely a lack of factions in the game currently standing at 10 which we can all expect will improve over time most likely with DLC. With all that being said I've currently sank 20 hours into the game between 3 different campaigns and have no expectation of stopping yet. The game seems mostly stable for now having only crashed on my once in 20 hours and performance is very smooth on my 1080.

Pros:

- Politics, family tree, governors, estates and loyalty system works really well.
- Requiring food to support armies is a really good system.
- Better location and time period then Attila.

Cons:

- Lack of playable factions on release.
- Small settlements have no resistance and can be taken over by any size army.
- AI can be stupid sometimes with its armies and settlements.
- No diplomatic penalty for taking a rebelled settlement off of an ally or neighbour.

Feel free to comment any questions or feedback :)

Best total war game currently in my opinion. Updates to the political system are also a massive bonus.

Really fun game, more fun with friends and mods, quite complicated however I learned the game to a good standard in about 4-5 hours with friends.

Immensely good game, I frequently found myself putting in hours a day to this addicting game. The diversity in the gameplay also allows to multiple playthroughs with many different characters. The game itself is based on the Bosnian War and delivers a very powerful story and the game shows the truth of war being complete hell. For the way this game acts as a complete anti-COD and the gameplay is very free, you are never forced to do anything however the game causes your actions to have ripple effects.

5 Star game, best purchase of the year.

It has been a while since I enjoyed a game this good!

In my opinion this should be Game Of The Year.
