Good But Definitely Not Finished.
I'll throw out my review now for everyone to see.

Ultimately, I would recommend the game but ONLY BUY IF ON SALE DUE TO IT'S CURRENT STATE

Generally Good Noteworthy Things

I'd say the game has potential, I'd say wait a bit, see if they add some of the required features, I personally do think from the hints I've seen from gameplay that they MIGHT add the damage system later. As for FUEL I do not know.

Generally cool features I noticed.
NPC AI vehicles will wear down unpaved or unfixed roads until they become impassable for them, which is pretty cool feature.
You can also make the AI go literally anywhere as long as they can traverse the route.
Off-roading does GET harder the further you get into the game, though the winch is miserable and almost useless aside from towing.

For me at least, the game appears to run alright, for referrance I've been running this game on
Dual Xeon E5-2699v3s which are 18 core 2.6GHz CPUs from 11 years ago beyond outdated at this point.
32GB of DDR4 clocked at about 2000MHz.
And an AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT at native 1080p
And I've been getting around 50-90FPS which is alright, I'd say the game runs alright, but could benefit from better optimisation in some areas. As for stability I've only had 1 crash in my 10 hour Playthrough, which is fine as it was the first boot up of the game after like 40 minutes.

The Actual Road Paving is pretty decent and comprehensive, and you can build roads wherever you want, there is literally no limit, go crazy, build a massive interstate after like 2 weeks of playing if you want.
You can place bridges anywhere as well, as long as you can get the materials for them.

Cargo loading is pretty nice, it's one by one loading which is pretty fun, I like it. Manual loading and unloading is a nice upgrade.

THE BADS

There's a concerning EULA Agreement which I unfortunately cannot support or encourage.

There is currently no damage/fuel/engine turning off system.

I think damage MIGHT be added later, as the game does warn me about deep water for the engine.
There is a fuel like UNIT/Icon but I'm assuming its probably for generators, and not a case of FUEL is turned on after the tutorial area.
You also can't turn off the engine which is a bit annoying, but I suppose if there is no fuel system it doesn't cause any issues??? But I'd rather just turn it off, when I'm building a road I keep thinking there's an AI car coming but It's just my truck which I can't turn off.

As for weather/day night or anything, I can't really talk on it, there does appear to be SOMETHING going on, as rain comes and goes and sun comes and goes, and maybe it does get dark for night? Or maybe I'm just mixing up heavy rain, I'm not sure what's going on with that system, it feels unfinished.

For the price though, I would say wait for a sale, in it's current STATE it is not worth the money. I'd say pay at most £15-20GBP for the game in it's current state.

Final CONCLUSION

Game has some pretty fun ideas, but it needs more polish, and is not worth the current MONEY.

Currently, one of the best furry style NSFW games out there, all the other ones are cheaply made card games or pretty trashy design or bland and boring, this one is pretty unique and fits a LOT of people's preferences for more substandard NSFW things.

So if you are looking for a game for when you are suffering from THE HORN, this one is probably one of the best out there. Even the desktop mode is alright.

In terms of actual review information, new models look great, and certainly I do approve of actually different genitalia options which lets be honest no other furry game has probably had it to this level before and for freaks like me who prefer more alternative genitalia that's a big plus.

Other things to note is the game does fully support compatible bluetooth sex toys through the intiface program which can make the game very weirdly immersive in a good way. The only thing I'd say bad about this is that It can only sync like a vibration to cover the entire character ♥♥♥♥/ass as a whole not specific areas, a nice idea would be to maybe have different areas which can sync different vibrators for those who might have more than one vibrator for one area of the body or vibrators with different vibration points.

Really the only 2 MAJOR issues I'm having with this game is in VR mode when you have an anthro partner, what usually happens with me is the player model's hands seem to desync from your actual hand locations like something has broke, it happens with me consistently after every interaction and it's definitly not a PC issue since I've played this game in VR on multiple different computers throughout the years. Although it's fine with the feral partner. Honestly for me personally if this ONE bug was fixed that would improve the experience for the anthro partner interactions. The other being since the latest update sometimes the area for doing the hipthrusts with the controller trigger can be a little bit glitchy with occasionally making your character pull out if you let the trigger go or move your head back a little too much, but I'd assume if you're playing with full body tracking it's not a huge issue I don't have the space to use full body tracking though.

Still a fantastic Furry lewd game, and honestly the kind of lewd framework this dev has crafted would probably work for many other normie lewd games too.

And maybe a few years down the line either someone will add an unofficial mutliplayer or the game dev might just add it, because honestly that is the only feature this game is missing to pretty much replace VRC and other popular lewd hangout areas for furries because it is so much better than those silly games.

As for performance, the game isn't that greedy, I've played this game on random old Xeon processors from years ago with relatively decent performance and other old outdated GPUs. it's not too demanding. the full fluid simulation can make your slower single threaded CPUs chug, but the non-dynamic fluid still looks fine without really harming the CPU performance that much.

Honestly if the dev fixed those two bugs and the game had multiplayer, I'd easily give it a 10/10 I'm not even kidding, but since those three issues are here I have to knock it down to a 8/10.

Ultimately in terms of game play and mechanics this game is far better than the first game and the base game comes with a lot of things which are DLC on the old game, I left it for a while before buying it to give them time to fix the bugs, but ultimately the game is still really buggy.

Road designer, way better than the first game you can actually make proper highway intersections and proper merging lanes, literally the best road designer at this point shame the game is unstable.
appearance is nice, though it does look a little over exposed.
The design of buildings and such are way nicer.
There is now medium density residential which is really nice.
Fantastic looking water
Cars can crash! That's awesome actually makes the game more realistic and punishes you for having bad traffic problems (i'll get into that later)

I play 100% vanilla sandbox with no additional content and I'm getting LUA errors and random crashes on a relatively fresh reinstall of windows and a brand new install of the game. Given the current state of the game I do not recommend it UNTIL they get this game as stable as the first, because the first game is so much more stable.

The problems I see, the water simulation is no longer as good
the game's requirements are a little upsurd
I feel that some services don't seem to work properly?
I've had trains and such bug out and not move anymore
My game keeps giving me weird LUA errors
And other times my game crashes in one of two ways, it instantly closes or it freezes completely which has been gradually getting worse the more I've been building this city. So I suspect it's some kind of error chain causing it.

I am still yet to test it on another computer just in case my computer is defective but I doubt it given the fact I'm not really having any issues with any other games.

There is another personal issue I have with all the cities skylines games not just this one.

What the actual hell is going on with the traffic spawn rate. I have a city with population of maybe 20-50 thousand people comprised mostly of low density residential with hugely overengineered roads with more lanes than you'd ever need but yet I have more traffic than New York clogging all the roads which has worse road design and millions of people. They really should reduce the spawn rate for traffic, it's upsurd, and can abliterate the framerate on slower PCs too.

Honestly, I would recommend this game if the developers put more effort into multi-threaded physics perhaps on 2 or 4 cores.

This game was released last year, where multi-threaded physics is already a thing in various games.
We should be using it more, because you buy an expensive 8 or 12 core processor, only to learn that it literally doesn't matter because this game only uses 1 core. meaning you wasted money unless you actually use the extra cores (I'm lucky since I do, but an average consumer ain't gonna need these extras cores if GAME ENGINES keep ONLY USING 1 CORE)
yes yes I know multithreaded physics is a hard thing to achieve, but THE PAYOFF is worth it, you can make the game more expensive while also making the people who wasted money on processors with a lot of cores actually use their money's worth which will make the higher price justified.

It means the only processors that are WORTH getting for this game are intel processors with high clockrates. Ryzen just isn't worth it for this specific game so if you run a ryzen processor don't get this game, or use an intel processor that's all I can recommend since the game run worse on Ryzen.
Intel is nice and personally I do prefer but you have to worry about higher cooling requirements and higher power usage.

Graphics = top notch
Story mode = Pretty challenging, you need to plan out quite well and be prepared to lose many times before succeeding.
Processor Performance = absolutely awful, burn down one complicated building after about 10-15 minutes your framerate will be locked to 20fps FOREVER even if you destroy the debris the FPS will still be locked to BELOW 40 you might be able to get a tiny bit more if you're super lucky. This is mainly because the game only uses 1 core for physics, if it used many cores for physics then it would be able to handle a LOT MORE voxels before LAGGING, you could easily destroy highly complicated things without any kind of performance issue, you can also encounter lag in the vanilla levels after doing too much destruction which rules out it simply being poorly designed maps. I run an i7 13700K By the way, which can clock regularly 5Ghz and even I can encounter lag way too easily, especially for the price of this game I don't think it's acceptable.
It's now 2023 MULTITHREADED PROCESSORS have EXISTED SINCE 2002 STOP USING ENGINES THAT ONLY USE 1 CORE or 1 THREAD and USE ONES that USE AT LEAST 2 CORES or 4 THREADS to make performance at LEAST 0.5-0.8 times faster depending on your processor's multi threading.
Graphics Performance = Amazing, I managed to run this game flawlessly on a Quadro m4000 with x2 xeon x5670s that GPU is from 2015 and isn't even a top end Graphics card. The game also runs at a decently playable FPS on my Nvidia Geforce 770M (from 2013) on my old GT 70 with i7 mobile extreme 4th gen with a nice stable 40-30FPS on low at 1600x900 while other games can barely run on the GPU. So good work with graphics optimisation.

Either way, the game can be fun if you have an 8GHz Processor that requires liquid nitrogen cooling and uses 1KW and breaks single core benchmarks.

And I do like the game it's just the performance is what makes me annoyed.
in a time where processors can render out ultra high resolution environments and simulate physics faster than real time, it is frankly ridicules how these processors are rendered crap by game engines that only use 1 core.

Hello people!

This game certainly is in need of some work since the physics are a little bit ehh unstable but I'm not sure why people keep complaining about performance? Co'mon the game runs perfectly fine on my 3090 Ti with i7 13th gen DDR5.

Sure the game dips at 40fps sometimes, but that's still perfectly playable especially for a game like this.

Ignore other reviews that are negative unless they are actually constructive this game is early access it might have issues, and it does have bugs, AGAIN it is EARLY ACCESS, sure 3 years seems like a long time for a whole development team, but this game is large project VERY large project, and the graphics alone likely took forever to actually perfect.

Either way I don't wish to hear anyone else complaining about performance, the game runs fine with all the tests I've done and if 40FPS is too laggy for you then I Think you should stop playing on the computer all the time and get some fresh air since you seem to like unrealistically high FPS.

Fantastic game! A lot of capabilities! And hours and hours of play.

Fun fact

Raytracing at high will murder your GPU!
My 3090 Ti is barely handling this, and I love it because it is a fun way to benchmark modern GPUs now haha.

Updating my review today! I've completed the main quest line. Good story telling guys and good lore depth! My only grumble is there is no non-human races, any good fantasy game has elves or orcs or lizard people. But hey still a good story! I won't spoil it but if anyone is reading this definitely complete crystal hunt the lore and ending is worth it. It certainly clarifies a lot more of the world.

And it is a nice touch how sandbox is set a few years after the events of the main storyline (can note as aspects from storyline are ruined and destroyed and aged) to keep it somewhat cannon.

The main quest line is quite short and can be completed in about 24-40 hours that is my only other grumble to be honest that it's quite short, but I can't expect too much from an indie team the fact they made it even this good is impressive. If you guys make any more fantasy games take some pages from other successful fantasy games like Dark Souls, The Elder Scrolls, Elden ring.

As always keep gaming!

Here we are again. Now the DLC it's self is actually pretty decent and adds a nice solid mainland however, the fact that my friend had to pay for this DLC is not okay!! The game on it's own already costs over 20 quid, adding this DLC makes the game cost over 27 POUNDS! This is a absolutely extortionate price for a game that is RIDDLED with bugs, And if you add BOTH dlcs it costs over £37 which is certainly not what this game is worth. There is also quite a few bug spots in this new mainland, a lot of the rail-tracks insta derail any train that goes over them. So the DLC isn't even finished yet. My point is, THIS DLC SHOULD'VE BEEN ADDED TO THE BASE GAME WITHOUT FORCING US TO PAY FOR IT!!! If I see another DLC for this game I am going to be very disappointed. Now if anyone found this review helpful I am glad, otherwise the DLC is still decent.
