The Witcher 3 is an experience of happiness, depression and everything in between. This is possible due to an amazing, lovely and action-based story set in the middleages during a war and flawless storytelling. Because it is an "open world" rpg, you can do basically anything the game has to offer at any time. And if you are interested in the world itself: it's perfect. From the sad and war-drained White Orchard, through poor and creepy Velen, rich and for the most part happy Novigrad, Skellige, which is reminiscent of northern countries such as Norway with some of the best night skylines in any game, all the way to beautifully colored Toussaint. You play as a witcher: a monster slayer, which means that you will need the proper gear to survive. The game does not disappoint in the slightest, giving you a huge amount of possible gear to craft and the alchemy system is just brilliant. The characters are written in a remarkable way, and you will not forget most of them. The ingame card game is a really nice touch and the Geralt love story is nicely done with proper care of the events in the first two games and the books. And the DLCs are just something else: The hearts of stone offers a beautifully designed story, and it has so many small details that make it even better. And the blood and wine is currently the best rated dlc, and it has a size of a literal game.

Overall, it is a remarkably brilliant experience which you will remember forever.
