The UI could be sleeked up, there's some pretty bleh cosmetics to go for as of rn but thats kinda the norm for live service games at launch- I have full faith yall will deliver some BANGERS with this fun neo-cyberpunk setting the game has.
Love the art style of the maps, love the gunplay and the audio too? 10/10.

I bought this game knowing nothing about it other than the rep that FromSoft brings, and man oh man, is this one a treat.
The customization, the gameplay, the writing of the story, are all immaculate. Im a mere 4 hours into what is for certain gonna be a long game, and I am hooked. If you like looking cool, blowing stuff up, and gritty world settings, this one is for you.
Its also a FromSoft game. They don't miss.

Edit at 39 hours of gameplay, all story missions in the first playthrough have all been S ranked, all arena AC's have been beaten, I have nearly every item unlocked, and I have begun new game +.
This game is one of my personal favorites now. My first armored core game, and I fell in love with it.

The gameplay itself is the main hook, it can be tailored to how you like, for me, I went fast and hard, flying around at max speeds doing high burst damage and stunning the MT's before they could even react to me. There is an abundant amount of parts and weapons to choose from that all fill a nice niche of gameplay, and you can mix and match freely as long as your generator and arms can support the weight! You can also paint and add decals all over your AC, and I love it. It reminds me of the black ops 3 emblem editor, only instead, you put up to 120 of your own emblems on your AC.

The story gets quite deep and honestly a bit sad near the end of it all, and it was amazing to play through. I dont want to go into detail about it because I think you should just play it. Im looking forward to my new game + and new game ++ play through.

The set pieces in this game are SO COOL. The sense of scale, the grand massive machinery everywhere, the remains of a planet that was once clearly VERY busy. it all creates such a cool atmosphere. I wish we could get more armored core stuff based around Rubicon. Its a very unique setting. There is so much visual story with all of the different levels in this game and I just love it.

I love this game. Im going to 100% it, and continue to play it well after that.
Its also a classic video game, and what I mean by that is it is a complete game with tons to do, lots of parts to unlock, no micros, no paid DLC, you complete levels and there is a PVP multiplayer with a high skill ceiling, and its SO fun to fly around in a 30ft tall mech suit and blow ♥♥♥♥ up. The power fantasy is fulfilled here, but its a fair power fantasy, this game is not easy. It has moments where its hard, but you for sure need to sit up right in your chair for some moments in this one.

Buy it and enjoy it, I want to see more armored core in the future!!!

my 1 complaint is I wish we could have melee weapons on each arm. It isnt practical, but it looks cool. An armored core game where an entirely melee focused build is viable would be so fun to play. I love the guns and explosives and energy weapons, I just wish melee was more fleshed out and more focused on in this game, rather than being just something you can do on 1 arm. I just imagine an AC flying in, two laser swords on each arm, slicing up whatever unfortunate MT or AC its charging at. A MAN CAN DREAM.

This game is SNAPPY, FUN, AND FLUID.
The artstyle is top notch, the weapon models are so AWESOME, and the player models are pretty nice too within the shop.
I love the gunplay, its a hybrid of Cod and Counter strike it feels like, and the plays you can make with your spectres are endless. Ive done some NUTTY stuff that I didnt even know i was capable of doing.
This game has serious potential to be a contender with other Comp. PVP shooters, please devs, treat it well and allow it to grow in all the positive ways this community can already see it growing.
Im excited to see other gamemodes too!

Every single second of this game is a work of art.
Truly one of the best games I have ever played, carried hard by the combat, visuals, and story.
Mechanics could be fleshed out more, the game does feel too safe in a few areas. I hope if there is a sequel, they take more game mechanic related risks, and flesh out the world more.

A simple, Fun, viddy game with simple and fun progression. 2.5hrs in now, but I can tell Already im gonna sink many many more into it.
