We all know the disgusting thing Sony tried to do with this game. But the developers have shown time and time again that they are on the side of the players. So give it a chance. It is an absolute blast with friends, and once the 3rd faction shows up it will even rival the popularity and fun of the first, if it does not already!

Awesome Game. Sad to see it being put on the backburner though. Definitely worth a checkout!

Only the first Act out right now, but if it anything to go off of this game is going to be fantastic. Have already ordered the collectors edition for my PS5, can't wait for August!

Always trust Patches. He is the best friend a man could ask for. Do everything he says, even if you think something bad will happen. It won't. Why would Patches hurt you? You guys are buds! Right?... Right?!

After 6 years I am still playing this game and putting money into it... save me...

EDIT:Year 7...still cannot escape the grasp of Todd...send help...

Edit 2: Year 8, two hundred more hours into the game...I don't think I will ever replace it...I tried stopping but Todd sent a hitman the second I uninstalled...

I am a collector, I like to get as many things as possible. A few years ago I picked Darksiders (the original) up for real cheap for a few reasons. 1 I heard that their company shut down, so I wanted to see why. 2. I have a friend who loves the games, mostly 2, but said the story was great. So one day I decided to launch it, and...well... I played up to the part where Mark hamil talked, lost my ♥♥♥♥, searched to make sure it was him, closing the game in the process and after that I was consumed in my hype for other games that he was in, mostly Batman, so I never continued.
Then the day came.
Deathinitive was already out, I have it, never played it, then this launched...Warmastered...
The name just felt sick. I had to try it again.
My God am I happy I did.
This is a gem buried in the pile of ♥♥♥♥ that present day gaming is. Remastered, better than ever. Play as one of the 4 horseman sent on a quest for revenge, killing every angel and demon stupid enough to get in your way. Watch the story unfold as you realize that your other horsemen do not come with you, and you must fight this war alone.(heh see what I did there, your war... I thought it was funny...)
Get caught in the story and make new friends in this epic tale.
Once again, I need to start playing games I buy, cause I am sorry I didn't play this sooner...

I had seen things about this game that made me think, oh I can take this!
This will be easy!
I have made bad decisions before, this will not haunt me...
I was not ready.
The emotional load it put into me...
Seeing things I thought I would never see.
Doing things even my twisted mind thought wrong.
This game has emotionally scarred me for the rest of my life!
And I love it for that...
Best game I have played all year, being able to finally connect with the protagonist, seeing the world through his eyes, having a good story...all of it...made this a gem.
I see why they call it a cult classic
