i can fish and build a house 10/10

If you like lethal company and among us then you will enjoy this game. This is "The Thing" game in all but name. Lobbies are configurable. The game, though a little buggy, runs great and I haven't had any real issues aside from my weapons not shooting where i'm aiming them.

If you're an xcom fan then this game is a must. between the fog of war, turn based combat and new enemies every few missions Gears Tactics manages to keep you on your toes. Characters are xcom accurate but like xcom the skill tree is where your Gears really start to shine. you get everything from stealth demolition experts to bayonet charging damage dealers that heal themselves by dealing damage.

its a good time with friends. if you don't have friends you'll probably make some playing this game.

This is a complicated game to review. It is first a survival horror game with some base building and management. Second this game is a metal gear title. on the first point it is pretty fun and utilizes the metal gear stealth system as well as can be expected in a zombie title. on the second front it feels forced but it also feels expected at this point. i enjoy the game but it isn't metal gear. get it on sale.

its a fun game with amazing mod support. fun solo better with friends. the ship builder is very intricate and allows for some crazy designs.

This game is a fun to play. simple as that. My friend and i have clocked in a few hours and enjoy building bases and raiding bunkers while collecting little novelty helmets here and there. For everyone saying "bring back legacy" it never left. you can switch to legacy on steam easily. the developer even posted how to do so before releasing the new build of the game.

For a free to play tittle of the 3D anime variety i figured this would be another joke of a game as I'm sure many people reading this are thinking the same thing. I will say the game seams to have a small team at best and is still receiving content drops. The people working on the game clearly care about it and want to make it fun from what i read in the patch logs and updates. I will also add that i do have fun playing the game and would recommend it as a fun casual shooter to kill some time.

The game itself is simple, pick a difficulty and go into the mission. In the mission you walk to the objective, complete the objective, and leave to claim any loot you picked up during your run. That's the cycle. As you go up in difficulty more types of objective types become available to keep the game more or less engaging. As you progress you will find modifiers you can equip to make the game more difficult, like broken vampire that basically drains your health as you shoot enemies, or to help you in the game, like Pickpocket which drops money on enemy hit.

The games mechanics are pretty standard for a third person shooter and work fine as of my review. weapons shoot, grenades kaboom, and kicks kick. Jokes aside the game works and again its free.

You are able to customize your character with a good amount of free options and even some cool and cute paid options. Most clothing items can have the color changed so you can mix and match pieces with ease.

Co-Op is available to include one other person but from what I can tell (and i could be wrong) there doesn't seam to be matchmaking which is unfortunate.

Enemies are interesting enough and they will actively try to close the gap and kill you. I believe this is the result of an update to the Enemies code which makes them a more active part of the game though i find the lack of enemies on my path to and from the objective to be disappointing. (Note i am only up to medium difficulty as i started farming for loot but it doesn't seam to change between mission areas so far)

Bosses are dynamic in game actively trying to kill you and requiring you to find their week spot. (as an example the first boss can only be damaged from behind but is a melee bruiser who charges you with a hammer.)

Look the game is free, it works, its fun. with more content being worked on for the future i don't see why you shouldn't at least try it.

The game improved on allot of things from the fallout franchise. better combat, better weapons, fun faction missions (were looking at you fallout 4). Ship combat is fun though I wish there was more of it. I find myself spending more time on the side quests as the sense of urgency for the main quest line seams minimal compared to alien invasions, pirates (who you can join), and raiders. I like the amount of thought that went into the governments and companies in the game as they all feel 3 dimensional rather then just being there for lore. actions you make have some weight to them and can even unlock missions for HVT termination, Alien exterminations, and even people you wronged hunt you down to take revenge.

That said I am playing on an older rig and experience some crashes here and there but overall the game runs fine considering my specs. aside from the obvious limitations of my rig i haven't really run into any bugs that weren't caused by my PC preparing to self destruct (falling through portions of the map)

Honestly the game is gorgeous. movement is fluid, combat is dynamic so far, and its fun. the main reason i don't recommend the game is because of its current state. i have a solid PC build and i still find myself getting the Fatal Error I am sure you've seen in other reviews. I'm sure you've also noticed I've played about 30 minutes as of this review. In that time i have received three fatal errors. Two during the tutorial and one at the beginning of my first run. once the game is ironed out on PC i would highly recommend it but for now you should wait a bit.

Update: still get fatal error however after verifying file integrity i was able to play for several hours without interruption.
