Good game for 60 hours, not much substance beyond that in my opinion. Worth the money.

My last review of this game was also negative, but I felt it appropriate to update the contents.

The game direction that GGG is pursuing is pushing away its playerbase. They are consistently ignoring feedback, and making it worse every single patch. It is arguably the most stubborn game company out there right now, and it is a true shame that their "vision" is so distorted compared to what is actually fun.

(Note that I have played in this league, I am just not using Steam anymore)

Lots of bugs. Really obnoxious (and unfunny) side-quests. Bosses are either way too easy or have incredibly ridiculous mechanics, and some of them just go on for way too long. Although fun at times, the movement is clunkier than ever before, it can be very frustrating. Lack of "fun" weapons. I wouldn't have completed this game without the Lawbringer's action skill, partly because of how insane the weapon sway is (what is up with that?). The screen shake can be pretty annoying, no way of turning that off. It overall just feels like a bad Borderlands 2 reskin, not sure what else to say.
I would only recommend this to people who are huge fans of the Borderlands universe. It definitely ranks the lowest in the series. But this is all personal opinion, and you will likely have a completely different experience than me, so who cares what I think.

Good game. Fun times. Lots of mods.

This game is pretty fun for the first 15-20 hours, so I would say it's worth the money.

There are however some downsides to this game.
- Bugs
- Progression

When it comes to bugs, there's a lot of minor ones, and they add up. Camera issues, physics that make very little sense, stuff like that.

Progression is a slighly bigger issue. As you progress in the game, it stops being about you doing the "coolest tricks" and starts being more of a "do the same tricks, but avoid a million rocks while you do it". I don't personally like it, and it will be the reason I eventually stop playing. I'm looking forward to the DLC though.

This game has lots of bugs. Lots. Devs don't seem to be in a hurry to fix any of them. EU servers are unplayable 90% of the time. Flying cars out of nowhere. Get shot from the other side of the map because of desync. Invisible players. Teams in solo queue. Duo queue is extremely unrewarding.

Despite all that, the fun somehow still outweighs the bad.

You'll love this game. You'll hate it. You'll stop playing for 6 months. You always return.

The effort vs. reward ratio is very imbalanced, and unless you love grinding the same things over and over again, this game isn't for you. The effort you put in is not rewarded well enough. That being said, I highly recommend it for the first 100 hours. It is a very good game to new players, just don't be surprised if you grow tired of it eventually.
