OH BOY! It's my favorite series's 25th anniversary and I'm getting the Mercs/Raid of my dreams! Oh boy, lucky me!

But wait, it's not at all full of insulting great characters like Waaaaackkky RE7 Villain Man, Russian Jill Who Doesn't Do Squats or Dress/Sound Like Herself, Leon But Only Because of Haircut, Claire But Tryhard, or the Chris that Doesn't Exist Please.

Oh boy, this isn't insulting or offensive to fans of a beloved series on its anniversary! Take me back to the 20th Anniversary and dump this trash, please.

In any case, this review sounds like a cry for help. They still do games that you like, let multiplayer crowd enjoy their multiplayer, ok, alright? Fuck you btw for being a bitch.

Imagine having re 5 as a favorite title on steam. I mean i platinumed that shit on ps3 myself, but only cause it took me a day and i never have to think bout this game ever again.

You're more than welcome to continue playing classic RE titles. This definitely looks like shit, but to suggest it's even remotely as egregious as you seem to think it is takes a bit more effort than is worth spending.

Capcom, like most other Japanese game studios, enjoy shooting themselves and their IPs in the feet almost as an obligation. I'm just glad their heads aren't entirely shafted up their asses. RE7 was quite good, and RE8 is looking promising. This TDM shit seems like a detached-from-reality afterthought, which is fine. I ain't playing it.

At least it's not RE 5 and 6.

Hating something for being cheap, insulting, and full of awful models isn't being "childish". Imagine having no ability to dislike things or be critical, especially of cheap cashgrabs from big companies who have already made similar games that failed -- primarily for the reasons above (PvP or Original Characters which these might as well be). I could have phrased it in a more critical way but honestly I don't have the energy for it.

And if you're not pissed at Capcom for this, why?
