Warminsko-Mazurskie, Poland

In Poland, the car is known as "Maluch," meaning "little one" or "toddler." It's also referred to as "mały Fiat," which translates to "small Fiat." In certain areas, it's nicknamed "Kaszlak," which can be understood as "cougher" because its engine sound is reminiscent of a cough when started.
This car was very affordable, making it hugely popular in Poland, especially during the 1980s. Its nickname became so widespread that the manufacturer officially adopted "Maluch" as the car's name in 1997.
It was manufactured as the Polski Fiat 126p (which translates to "Polish Fiat 126p") from 1973 to 2000. Initially, it closely resembled the original Italian version, with a few modifications like a higher chassis, altered rear grille, and orange front indicators (compared to the white ones in Italy). The "p" was added to its name to differentiate it from the Italian model.
The car was produced by Fabryka Samochodów
Małolitrażowych (FSM) (Factory of Small-Capacity Cars) in two Polish cities, Bielsko-Biała and Tychy, using a license from the Italian company, Fiat.
